BoyleSports is one of the most influential online bookmakers to come out of Ireland. They have been in the business since 1982 and in that time have become the largest independent bookmaker in the country.
Whilst they run a strong online presence, to accompany this they also run a large fleet of betting shops. They currently have over 270 shops throughout the UK and Ireland. What's interesting about this is that up until 2019, BoyleSports betting shops ran exclusively in Ireland and it's only come on the back of a crackdown of FOBTs (Fixed Odds Betting Terminals) in the UK that has created an entry route for the brand.
The online sector is a lot more diverse than that and they offer their services to players from all over the world. The UK and Ireland are still their biggest markets however, but this is to be expected given where they are from.
In terms of marketing, the bookmaker has sponsored hundreds of events and sporting teams over the years. One of their most recent and high-profile deals has been sponsorship (Principal Partner) of Birmingham City FC. On top of this, they also sponsor the Irish Greyhound Derby, RTE racing programmes, World Grand Prix of Darts and the Champion Chase run at Punchestown.

New accounts to BoyleSports can get up to €40 in free bets. The offer works by initially giving you a €30 free bet when you place your first bet of €10 or more. You will also be credited with a €10 Casino bonus as part of the welcome package.
Your first bet placed must be placed at odds of Evens or better and the free bets will last for 7 days on your account before expiring.
The registration process is very simple at Boylesports and takes just a few minutes to work through. You will initially get asked to provide all the usual details here, such as name, country, address, email, phone and date of birth.
You will also need to create a username and password, as well as set any account or deposit limits as part of their drive for responsible gambling.
Once you've done this, your details will be run through the Gamstop system and if they match, then you will be able to make your first deposit and get started. If not, you will have to verify your account. For this, you need to send in things like your passport and driver's license.
This can be done by taking a decent photo with your smartphone and then sending it across. It takes just a few minutes and makes sure that you are who you say you are. You do this just once and as we say, if you're already on the system then you won't need to do this at all.
Banking methods at BoyleSports are really good and there is a huge range to choose from. These include credit and debit cards and cash deposits and withdrawals in any Boylesports shop. Other options include Skrill,, Neteller, Paysafecard, Boku and PayPal.
Banking is super-fast on the whole and we found that some withdrawals back to our bank were there within an hour or so. It does state on-site that they offer fast withdrawals, although these are limited to AIB, Bank of Ireland and Permanent TSB. There are no fees included with any deposits or withdrawals.

One of the things that jumped out at us when testing BoyleSports is just how smooth the site is. You're able to move about from one sport or market to the other and there is next to no lag. It's almost like you're running a program on your computer and searching through files, it's that fast!
The design is one that admittedly is a little dated now, although it still functions well. The homepage has a lot going on and it can be a little overwhelming at first. The text is a little small (or we are getting old!) and just generally it needs a bit of TLC.
The best way to access BoyleSports is definitely via their betting apps. It's available on both the App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android.
It's modern, which is a stark contrast to the online version. In fact, if you were to remove the logo at the top, it would be hard to link the two together, as they are that different. You've got access to fast results, cash out and personalised content via the app, which allows users to set it up as they wish.
There's a really good range of both sports and markets on offer at BoyleSports. It's not the biggest that we've seen, but for the vast majority of punters, it's going to be more than enough. To give you an idea of the depth, you get over 100 markets for most of the higher-profile football matches and they cover horse racing from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, France and the US as well as bigger meetings from elsewhere.
Golf, US Sports, Tennis, Cricket, GAA and Darts are all covered really well at Boylesports too, but it doesn't stop there. Niche events like Futsal, Handball, Badminton and Aussie Rules are also available here, among much, much more.
You will find a more than competitive pricing section here and one that is much improved over the last few years. From the markets and the bets that we tested and compared, they were never too far away from the top prices for each. They lacked a little with consistency around the very best prices, but as we say, it wasn't too bad.
They do include a range of odds and price boosts. These boosts can vary in terms of the size, but they often do just enough (if not more) to make them at least level with the best price in the industry. They also cover a wide range of sports with their boosts as well, meaning they aren't limited here.
We spoke about the “busy” homepage earlier in our piece, but this is something that, as time goes on, you grow to love. It means there is always something going on and the homepage allows you to get access to a lot of the features that we will discuss in this section.
The first thing that jumped out at us was the link to their betting stats section. It's powered by Touch Line and they do a great job of providing an insane amount of data. We love that it includes a little text labelled as “Match Facts” giving you an idea of how a game or match might pan out based on the numbers. It also includes form, heads to head, wining/losing stats and average stats for the season.
The in-play section is the next feature on the list and it's here where BoyleSports has clearly invested a lot in terms of development. The match centre that is attached to pretty much all games here is superb and allows you to not only see what's happening real-time but also what's already happened. Whilst there is no live streaming, it will highlight what TV channel if any, the game is being broadcasted on.
Linked into this part comes their bet slip and cash out betting section. The bet slip is located on the right of the page and is pretty basic but works well. Cash-out betting is accessed from the same spot and markets are highlighted if they are going to be eligible for cash out at some point, which is a nice feature.
The betting blog on BoyleSports is an area that is quite new and comes with loads of articles every day. We liked that they link up with some of their ambassadors for this, such as Kevin Kilbane (football) and Robbie Powers (horse racing), who both have their own column.
Finally, we can't leave this section without talking about the horse racing fragment of the site. It's one of the best that we have seen, with a cracking link to the Racing Post serving uploads of data and information on each race. You can stream the majority of races on the site as well. All you need to do is place a bet of €1 or more on that race and you will get access to the stream for the duration of the race and about 5-10 minutes of build-up as well.
There's lots going on at BoyleSports in terms of promotions. Here are some of the longer-running offers and how they work:
Horse Racing Money Back – Money back on selected races where your horse finishes second to the Starting Price favourite.
Double Winnings – Selected Premier League matches get double winnings on selected markets when a penalty is scored.
Acca Insurance – Free bet if 1 of your 5+ leg acca lets you down, up to €20.
Acca Loyalty – Free €5 accumulator for each €5+ accumulator that you place with minimum 5 legs in each acca.
Customer service is one of the standout features of the site as they have been brilliant. We had a couple of issues signing up, which turned out to be our fault as we had entered our info incorrectly. However, live chat was straight on the case and even made sure that we didn't miss out on the welcome offer as technically, we should have lost as we failed to opt-in.
There are several ways that you can get in touch, including the previously mentioned live chat, phone and email.
Like the vast majority of bookmakers these days, BoyleSports take their role in the promotion of responsible gambling very seriously. The site includes tons of information on what they do but also how they can help as well. They have individually teamed up with the likes of Gamcare, Dunleway, Gamble Aware, Gamblers Anonymous, Gamblock and Betfilter.
On-site features include account history, deposit limits, session limits, time out and self-exclusion. BoyleSports are also very active in any cases where they think players might have a problem.
You're going to be getting a very solid bookmaker in BoyleSports and it's pretty easy to see why they have been running near the top of the industry for so long. The site can feel a bit dated at times, but the range of sports and markets, and features such as their horse racing section, are right up there with the best.
Aside from a few niggles, there is so much to like here at BoyleSports and as a result, we would be happy to recommend taking them up on their generous welcome offer.VISIT BOYLESPORTS
