I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is a celebrity contestant reality TV show usually set in the jungle in Springbrook National Park in New South Wales, Australia. However, the 2020 version of the show, which usually has a wide range of TV specials betting options, took place in Gwrych Castle in Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Taking place each November, the show, hosted by the iconic Geordie UK presenters Ant & Dec, is usually set over a period of six weeks in which celebrities are set various survival-themed challenges (sometimes frightening, sometimes disgusting) to complete in order to win food for their camp and ultimately gain the favour of viewers in a bid to become 'King or Queen of the Jungle'. The show brings in several millions of viewers and airs every day of the week aside from Saturday during its short November-December yearly tenure.
The winning celebrity is generally crowned around the second week of December depending on the start date of the show. There is a selection of different I'm a Celebrity betting options for players to avail of, as is the case with most TV show specials markets nowadays.

Since 2001 over 200 celebrities have competed in the series. Each season producers meet with between 60 and 90 potential celebrities. Since the show's inception producers have kept a standby list of celebrities who are either already in or ready to go to Australia at a given moment. This is to account for some celebrities leaving the show early on medical grounds (or simply being fed up!) and also gives the producers the option of spicing things up with a new campmate at any point they please.
Important to note that the line up is subject to change even during the show with late arrivals often entering the camp and making it hard to predict a winner when you don’t know what the pesky producers have up their sleeves!
Many have leveled criticism at the producers of I'm a Celebrity for some of the 'bushtucker trials' (challenges the celebrities have to endure). Animals and insects play a big part and there is a bug-breeding factory specifically for the production of the show in which millions of insects along with hundreds of rats, spiders and snakes are bred each year.
Animal rights criticism was best highlighted in 2009 when celebrity chef (and eventual winner) Gino D'Acampo and actor Stuart Manning were charged by New South Wales Police for killing, cooking and eating a rat. In recent years the producers have improved the trials and created a less distressing environment for the animals used.

Celebrities are subject to a public vote daily to decide who takes part in the Bushtucker Trials each and every day. Once selected, often because they are probably going to be useless and great entertainment faced with fears and horrors, they will take on a challenge related to their surroundings so expect snakes, crocodiles, insects and scary tasks as a minimum. The only way to escape early is to say the title of the show - I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but that would be super embarrassing!
Within the Bushtucker Trials there is a requirement on the celebrity contestant to earn Gold Stars for camp. Each one usually means one meal portion for camp – without them the group of celebrities are only fed rice and beans and general simple sustenance. The stars mean meats, vegetables and other items are also available for the evening meal, but they still have to cook it themselves!
The celebrities live in a camp in the Jungle when the show is hosted in Australia and the facilities are basic, including the Dunny – the outside toilet that they must clean and empty themselves and is a very common topic of chat around the camp fire.
A daily task for two camp mates to tackle and win treats for the camp outside of the usual Bushtucker Trial format. They must do rather ridiculous things like mud diving, farm games and whatever it takes to get the Dingo Dollars and take them to the Tuck Shop. Even then they still have to answer a question to get the treats!
This is the 2020 version of the Dingo Dollar Challenge as in the new surroundings of the Castle in North Wales the aim is the same but they must earn Castle Coins to make it to Clegwin's Tuck Shop before answering a tricky question and taking home the goodies.
The name given to the inferior and less luxury camp and often a form of punishment or extreme conditions for those less favored in the show. Not a place you want to be and this camp is often set against the main camp in tasks and competitions.
With conditions grueling and unsettling as they are for the unsuspecting but well compensated celebrities there are opportunities for each to win and earn Care Parcels and Luxury Items from home. They might receive a letter of support, a favorite pillow or some chocolate and these can make all the difference when the initial exuberance has long exited stage left!
The title given to the winner of the show outright, King if a man and Queen if a female winner.

Yes nearly all of the top online bookmakers will take bets on several different markets relating to the hit ITV show hosted by Ant and Dec each winter.
Ant and Dec have hosted the hit TV show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here since it's debut on UK television screens in 2002.
It is rumored that the producers of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here spend around £1.5m per year on contestants for the show with recent stars Caitlin Jenner earning £500,000 and the highest ever paid star, TV personality Noel Edmunds, raking in £600,000 for his appearance in the 2019 series.
Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic the 2020 series of I'm A Celeb took place in a medieval castle setting in North Wales. The Gwrych Castle has been transformed into a version of the usual camp with haunted rooms and plenty of bushtucker trial scenarios in mind.
The show airs almost every day on ITV and regional station variations at 9pm for an hour and sometimes is extended to 90mins to facilitate live bushtucker trials or elimination specials.
