MansionBet is a newcomer to the UK sports betting market. It launched in 2018 under the umbrella of the mighty Mansion Group and offers a full range of markets via its desktop and mobile clients. The software is provided by SBTech, one of the industry leaders in online sportsbook platforms.
Primarily UK and Europe-facing, MansionBet already has two betting partnerships with English Premier League football teams. In 2019, it signed a deal with Newcastle United to become their official online betting partner. The gambling firm also has a long-running shirt sponsorship deal with Bournemouth AFC.
With headquarters in Gibraltar and a licence from the UK Gambling Commission, MansionBet is set to push for space in a crowded sportsbook arena. Let's kick off with an expert review.
|Part of the award-winning betting giant, Mansion Group||Most promotions aimed at football punters|
|Hundreds of markets including football and US sports||No live streaming available|
|New customer deposit offer and free bets|
MansionBet sportsbook is offering new customers a couple of good promotions. On making a first deposit of £10 by debit card, you can earn a 50% bonus on top of your deposit amount.
The deposit and bonus must be wagered six times on selections with odds of 4/5 or greater before you can withdraw the cash. Your ID must also be verified before you take part.
MansionBet goes big on sports promotions, although most are aimed at football fans. While many promotions are carried on MansionBet's site, there are regular giveaways like free bets on the sportsbook's social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
Premier League Brace Insurance is an ongoing offer on MansionBet. You can claim up to £25 back if a player scores two or more goals on any televised English Premier League game.
If you like fantasy football, the Predict Six competition is a nice addition to the Promotions page. You can win a £50 free bet if you correctly predict the outcome of six Premier League games. £1 and £10 prizes are awarded for predicting 2-3 and 4-5 matches correctly. There is also a leaderboard for the best monthly predictors.
MansionBet also runs several competitions and promotions through its social media platforms. Contests include Twitter ticket giveaways to Premier League matches involving MansionBet's sponsored teams, Bournemouth AFC and Newcastle United.
Like most leading sportsbooks, MansionBet offers an ACCA Boost on accumulator bets with five or more right selections. There is a 10% boost for 5-6 selections, up to 60% for 15+ correct picks.
There is the odd bonus aimed at horse racing fans. The 'Beaten by a Head or Less' promo earns players £25 in cashback if their pick is narrowly beaten in selected races.
MansionBet runs a loyalty scheme for customers, but it's not well signposted on the site. An offer to join the sports betting loyalty club will be made depending on your level of activity. Offers vary, but we learned that VIPs can receive cash bonuses every week as part of the club. Free bets will also be awarded relative to your betting activity.
Finally, when you use MansionBet's #MakeABet feature, you can earn a free £10 bet. Place three #MakeABets in a single week and wait til the bets have been settled. You can then claim the offer.
MansionBet offers wagers on all major sports and markets. Football and UK & Irish horse racing are well-represented, and customers can enjoy regular price boosts on the most popular meets and games. Some in-play betting is available too on selected sports.
There is a full range of 1X2, correct score and scorecast betting on major football leagues. You can search available matches every day for the coming week. There are also shortcuts to the Top Leagues so you can skip to the most popular markets.
While England and Europe dominate the football markets, you can also find full betting selections on leagues as far afield as Colombia, Egypt and Palestine.
For a typical Premier League weekend match, you can bet on everything from Home, Draw, and Away (1X2) outrights to Total Goals, Over/Under, and First Goalscorer. MansionBet also groups together football markets into handy links for easier access (e.g. Goal markets, Halves markets, Specials, etc).
Statistics are provided on all major games, including head-to-head results, and even the records of the referees.
UK & Ireland racing dominates the markets at MansionBet. Bets can be made on the day's races, but there are racecards for the next day's meets and big ante-post events like the Grand National.
You can also find a race to bet on quickly using the 'Next 3 Races' feature which displays what's coming up around the UK and Ireland. The jump and flat season are both well-covered.
In addition, the 'International' race tab features the big meets in France, the US and Australia. Popular races like L'Arc de Triomphe and Kentucky Derby can be bet on, but daily meets from France are all available too.
Match betting, forecasts and tricast betting is all available. You can also use the Pro Racecard, which has bets like 'Betting Without a Favourite'.
Daily tennis matches and big ante-post bets are both available at MansionBet. The daily match list features all current ATP, Challenger and Grand Slam meet-ups for the next three days.
Most of these smaller tennis matches allow betting on outcome, Over/Under Games, and 1st Set Winner. ATP Tour matches feature around two dozen bets like Outright winner, correct set score, and handicap result.
MansionBet spreads golf markets from around the world, but the UK, USA and Europe are the main areas.
You can bet on big tournaments like The Open and Ryder Cup, or place wagers on smaller Open meets like the Open de Espana. Each-way bets pay 1/4 the odds down to five places for virtually all golf markets.
Daily match lists and big upcoming tournaments are covered at MansionBet. For instance, we found a full list of Outright betting on daily World Grand Prix matches, while each match carried 'highest checkout' and handicap markets.
Betting on US sports is gaining popularity in the UK and Europe, and MansionBet offers wagers on the usual sports.
NFL (American football), baseball, and ice hockey are all covered. In general, NFL markets are displayed in the US Money Line format. You can also bet on point spreads, just like at a US-facing online sportsbook.
The selection of additional markets for each NFL game isn't great, however. An Over/Under bet is about as adventurous as MansionBet gets.
These aren't the only big sports betting markets at MansionBet. UK and Ireland greyhound meetings can be bet on daily, as well as other sports like rugby, motorsports and MMA.
There is a small selection of novelty markets at MansionBet. Most are lumped together under the 'Specials' tab and include bets on politics and television. Confusingly, when searching through the novelty markets you will find them labelled as 'leagues', which doesn't seem right.
On first appearances, MansionBet has the same range of features as many of the best online sportsbooks.
Sports are easily accessible via a list on the homepage, and the betting slip is easy to use. MansionBet also has a Cash-Out function which lets you settle your bet early and cash in some winnings.
MansionBet also has a wide range of markets across a big range of sports. We would have liked to have seen the total number of markets available in each sport. Some sportsbooks display this in brackets next to each sport, but MansionBet doesn't. The football betting markets at MansionBet have perhaps the widest range of features on the site.
In-play betting is available on virtually all big games, and you can follow in-game stats as they happen during the game. There is currently no live streaming of football on the site though.
Statistics are provided for all football matches. These include H2H (head to head results as well as information on league standings, team form, and referee cards. There is also a comprehensive archive of results going back several years.
MansionBet has a massive range of horse racing markets and meets. The upcoming three races will be displayed in the Horse Racing lobby, and you can browse results of all the day's races.
In the betting slip you'll have the option to pick the current price or opt for the SP. You will also be notified instantly if the price has changed.
Form, weight/age and previous odds are all displayed clearly for every runner and rider. You can also browse every race result for the past 7 days at tracks in the UK and in Europe.
Cash Out and Partial Cash Out are available on selected matches. These are a common feature of most good sportsbooks. You have the option to cash your bet out early and secure a profit without waiting for a game or match to finish.
As soon as you choose a selection, it will appear in your betting slip. The MansionBet slip is split into sections: Singles, Accas and Combos. As soon as you select two or more results, the slip will automatically calculate your possible accumulators and combo bets, together with the odds.
You can also opt to automatically accept all odds changes that might be made on your selections. Alternatively, you can choose to accept only better odds, if any appear. This lets MansionBet do the hard work for you when you are planning your bets.
#MakeABet is one of MansionBet's special features for football matches in the UK and Europe. You have the ability to build an accumulator with a minimum of three result selections. You can also claim a free bet offer when you first use the #MakeABet feature.
Teaser bets are available in US sports like American Football (NFL) and NBA Basketball. It lets you adjust the points spread or game totals manually.
Fast Markets are one of MansionBet's big selling points for football bettors. The bet allows you to predict what will happen within the next 1 or 5 minutes of a live game. For example, you can bet on a goal, corner, or booking to happen in the next short period of play.
Pulse Bet is another of MansionBet's special features aimed at football punters. With Pulse Bet, you place a wager that a goal will be scored in the next 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes. You win a jackpot if your goal is scored in the third time period.
In-Play betting is available on a range of sports like football, tennis, and cricket. In-Play markets include final match result, over/under bets and handicap.
You can also view the current match stats by the graphic visualizer. This shows the passage of play in a match, and key live stats like possession percentage, corners, or cards.
Again, football bettors are well catered for with MansionBet's in-running software. In-Play 'Football Aggregates' group together matches that are starting at the same time. This makes it easier to place in-running bets on a series of simultaneous games that are happening on a Saturday afternoon or a Wednesday night.
As a new sportsbooks, MansionBet makes the sign-up process easy. You can access sports betting markets and your account through a regular browser. We recommend having a Flash-enabled Google Chrome 30+.
You will need to provide your name, home address, mobile number and deposit limits if you require any. Limits can be set as high as £100,000, which should satisfy even the biggest of gamblers.
ID verification is needed before you bet. You will need to provide a recent utility bill as proof of address, plus a scan of your passport or driving licence. However, we found the verification process went really quickly, and email contact throughout was excellent.
You will need to deposit as little as £10 in order to start betting on markets at MansionBet. We would have liked to have seen a £5 minimum to cater for casual gamblers. However, you can deposit £10 and make a withdrawal once you have made a few bets.
Debit cards are accepted for deposits, as are PayPal and paysafecard. Bank transfers can be used for withdrawals only.
Also expect long waiting times if you are withdrawing a lot of cash at once. We discovered that there is a potential processing time of 8-10 days for larger cash-outs.
MansionBet has an easy-to-use desktop client that can be accessed through your usual web browser. Simply log on and hunt for a sport or market in the menu down the left-hand side of the screen.
The lobby features a selection of 'Betting Highlights', MansionBet's picks of the day like the night's football matches or afternoon's races. You can also look for an event or sport league in the search box. (However, when we searched 'Rugby World Cup' during the event no results came up.)
Odds on all markets can be displayed in Fractional, Decimal or American format. There is also a full list of statistics on most football markets.
MansionBet now has a mobile sportsbook app available for download. There are apps both for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) customers. Make sure you are running Android OS 5.0 or better, or iOS 10+ for the best experience.
Mobile customers can access the same deposit match bonus as desktop users. Mobile log-in is also available via Touch ID or Face ID for added security.
We actually found the mobile app at MansionBet to be a step above the desktop version. Markets are clearly displayed at the top of the lobby (Football, Horse Racing, Greyhounds, etc) and the mobile betting slip makes adding wagers a breeze.
MansionBet offers a comparable range of odds on major sports events compared to rival sites. We selected one or two big games (Champions League) featuring popular teams like Real Madrid and Manchester City. The odds-on prices of 2/7 and 1/15 respectively were virtually identical to those found on major rival sportsbook sites.
Like a lot of leading UK-facing sportsbooks online, MansionBet offers 'Best Odds Guaranteed' on all UK and Irish racing.
Back a horse ante-post, and MansionBet will honour the bigger odds if the starting price is higher.
We found the customer service to be friendly and useful at MansionBet. Live chat is available from 9am to 11pm UK time, and the support staff were pretty knowledgeable, especially about VIP schemes and bonuses.
You can use a phoneline instead if you live in or out of the UK. Alternatively, email support is quick and friendly.
As part of a UK-licensed gambling group, MansionBet takes its responsible gaming duties seriously.
On registering your account, you can opt in and out of the Reality Check system. This gives you information every hour on how long you have been logged in and betting for. You also have the option to view your betting history.
You can also request an easy Time Out if you want a break from betting. Self-exclusion is possible as well by following the links on your account page.
MansionBet might be new to the market, but the company behind it has years of experience. The SBTech software is excellent, and we liked the betting slip where choosing stakes is made super easy by using '+' and '-' buttons.
There are enough promotions to keep everyone happy, but there could be a few more aimed at non-football punters. The lack of an all-inclusive VIP program is a slight minus too. Give the site a try and see what you think.
"I've worked in the betting industry on product, operations and customer service for several years. A class operator will deliver on many aspects and we cover them all."
