New Celtic FC Sponsorship Boosts Mr Green’s Sportsbook

The greenest of all online casinos has added a few more emerald strips to its banner thanks to a new deal. Following an official deal between Mr Green and Celtic FC, fans of the Scottish football can now access a range of special offers. According to those involved, the deal will have a variety of benefits:

"We are very pleased to be partnering with Mr Green. We are certain both parties will enjoy a highly successful association, with Celtic fans, both at the stadium and around the UK, benefiting from the partnership."
Gordon Kaye, Celtic’s Head of Business Development

About the Budding Mr Green

Founded in 2007 and going live in 2008, Mr Green is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and currently holds online betting and gaming licences from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

Thanks to partnerships with software developers such as NetEnt and Microgaming, the casino platform currently boasts 300+ games. In addition to the casino platforms, the operator has recently launched a sportsbook, bingo and keno options.

Casino and Football Fans to Benefit From New Deal

Under the terms of the deal, Mr Green's sportsbook is now Celtic's official betting partner. This means the football club’s desktop and mobile sites will offer direct links to special deals on Mr Green. On top of this, new visitors to the Mr Green online casino will be able to pick up an extremely generous welcome bonus.

Beyond the benefits for casino fans, Mr Green will also be the official Wi-Fi betting partner inside Celtic Park. By connecting to the Wi-Fi network, those in the Park will get instant access to a variety of match-focused odds and offers, as well as a welcome bonus offering a £10 free bet.

Mr Green’s deal with Celtic is its first in Scotland, but it’s not the first time it’s partnered with a football team. In December 2016, the Swedish company agreed terms with Wigan Athletic. As part of the agreement, Mr Green branding was peppered throughout the club’s stadium, while a range of online incentives were offered to Wigan fans.

Interestingly, this move to partner with sports teams comes just 18 months after Mr Green signed a deal with sports betting platform, Kambi Group. After an extensive selection process, Mr Green chose Kambi’s software. Mr Green Sports now provides members access to thousands of daily bets across dozens of sports.

Partnership Solidifies Continued Sports Betting Push

Building on this move into a new betting arena, Mr Green’s partnerships with two major football clubs, as well as Ireland’s Bohemian FC, has exposed the brand to a new demographic. Analysing the effect of this strategy on the company’s bottom line will be difficult at this stage.

With Mr Green still a relatively new player in the sports betting arena, it’s likely it will roll out more offers and initiatives in the coming months and years. For now, its next move will be the creation of a Celtic branded online slot. According to reports, the slot game will feature Celtic legends past and present and should be live by the start of 2018.

At present, Mr Green offers two football-themed slots (Football Star and Football Champions Cup), but the new offering will be the first branded game. Another possibility for the new slot could be a series of bonuses that link Mr Green’s casino and sports betting platforms.

From free spins to free bets, the partnership could lead to some interesting options for members on both sides of the betting divide. For now, Mr Green’s familiar logo will be featured online and throughout Celtic Park, including the LED screens that line the pitch. Visit Mr Green Sports today for their latest odds!
