New Features Launched with Microgaming’s Latest Slot Games

In a time of multi-million pound endorsements and franchise deals, it’s refreshing to see a slot gaming brand investing time and money into improving the gameplay of its titles. That’s exactly what the creative team at Microgaming have been doing of late.

Its two flagship releases in April – Cool Buck and Mega Money Multiplier – both featured the debut of a handful of new features the brand has been working on, and so far the overall impression has been good.

With a packed slate of releases scheduled for the months ahead, it’s going to be exciting to see what innovations the geniuses at Microgaming have in store for the patiently waiting world of online gambling!

Don’t Pass This Buck

The first new title off the production line to offer a sneak peek into the future of Microgaming was Cool Buck, which on the face of it looks pretty standard with its five reels and nine paylines. But this format has been given a twist courtesy of some high-octane action and rather cool features.

These include the hot-off-the-press ‘free spins collection’ feature that enables players to really make the most of triggering the bonus round. The playing card symbols will occasionally feature pink stars – collect 30 of these and the free spins feature will be activated, with 30 freebies handed out and a 2x multiplier applied to every win.

Factor-in super-stacked wilds and it’s fair to review Cool Buck as a highly enjoyable slot game with an excellent RTP and big money potential. The best bit is that it won’t break the bank to spin the reels in Cool Buck. The minimum bet is set at 0.09, with a maximum payout of a lofty 107,500 up for grabs.

Mega Money Mayhem

Never one to rest on its laurels, Microgaming’s other big April release was Mega Money Multiplier, and this offers a walk down memory lane with its three-reel set-up. Yet it still offers a number of mod cons that elevate the release to the next level.

The multiplier function is nothing new in slot game circles, but in this particular game business really does pick up. Wins on the second reel can be nudged to a random number multiplier, while the first and third reels offer re-spins. Should the 2x, 3x and 5x multipliers land consecutively on the middle reel, this triggers a Mega Win.

Should another multiplier rock up on the first or third reels then an even bigger win occurs. When Microgaming called this title Mega Money Mayhem it wasn’t messing around! The opportunity to earn a 10x multiplier on each and every spin is enticing. As David Reynolds, the games publisher at Microgaming, commented:

"Mega Money Multiplier brings the classic three-reel format up to date with a host of modern features. We’re very excited to see Cool Buck launch, which has a brand-new game engine that focuses on creating maximum player excitement with every spin."

Both these games are live at some of the best online casinos via desktop and mobile, so give them a try and see how exciting you find the new features!

Microgaming on a Macro Scale

It may have ‘micro’ in its moniker, but there is nothing small about Microgaming’s position in the iGaming industry. With some 600-plus games under its belt and counting, the brand has been around for years. This has resulted in a tried-and-tested formula that ensures all its new releases hit the mark.

There’s enough versatility in its games to ensure they appeal to all manner of players – from huge jackpot prizes to readily available bonuses and promotions. This comes with the kind of dependability that appeals to online casinos looking for partners they can trust.

A handful of new releases each month keeps the Microgaming brand building. Its back catalogue is already packed to the rafters with classics: Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones, Thunderstruck and Immortal Romance are the kind of games players come back to time after time. If the chance to win a seven-figure sum appeals – and why wouldn’t it? – then Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network will be right up your street.

While new releases such as Cool Buck and Mega Money Multiplier aren’t attached to the network, plenty of the brand’s other games are – and the jackpot prizes are increasing as you read this. Head over to LeoVegas Casino today to enjoy the newest titles and features from Microgaming!
