Online betting giants Paddy Power are moving to expand their range of mobile casino games after signing a new deal with leading developers Playtech. The deal will reportedly allow Paddy Power mobile casino site to feature nine titles, to increase the range available to gamers.

This contract is the first that Paddy Power have signed with Playtech since the company’s takeover of the leading mobile platform designers Mobenga a year ago.

Daniel Orkan, Head of Mobile for Playtech, has said that the deal is an exciting step that will allow both Playtech and Mobenga to collaborate and merge their expertise. He also emphasised that looking to the mobile platform for online casino gaming will allow operators like Paddy Power to “access new streams of revenue”.

It is expected that the deal will be beneficial for both of the companies and their loyal gamers. The nine new titles will offer versions of roulette and blackjack – specifically designed with the mobile player in mind – in addition to a variety of classic slot games.

The major benefit of Playtech’s mobile gambling platforms and online products is that the company boasts a wide choice of games that is hard to match. A statement from Playtech has stated that its great range of fun and accessible titles are perfect for gaming on the go and “eliminate the need for different mobile applications”.

The statement continued, saying that it also allows customers who download their mobile casino application to “automatically have access to Playtech’s complete suite of products” wherever they may be. So, it looks like a promising relationship for Paddy Power and Playtech, and one which will have a considerable impact on the online casino market.
