Put Some Spring in Your Bankroll with Microgaming's Bar Bar Black Sheep Slot

The industry-leading software supplier Microgaming has just announced the launch of a new online slot game that promises to put a 'Spring' in your step this month. Offering five reels and 15 paylines, Bar Bar Black Sheep is “bar-illiant” according to Microgaming, for more reasons than one.

Spring Time Fun

According to the recent press release, the new online slot will offer a variety of in-game features and bonuses, including:

  • ‘Retriggerable’ free spins feature offering 20 free spins and 3X multiplier
  • Bar Bar Black Sheep Bonus with 999x multiplier on your line bet
  • Top jackpot worth 95,000 credits

Beyond the various combinations and potential prizes, Microgaming's Bar Bar Black Sheep slot features a variety of images, animations and sounds that are guaranteed to take you back to your youth. From its quirky backdrop filled with grass munching sheep to Microgaming's take on the classic nursery rhyme 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' (i.e. “five reels full”), this new online slot game is entertaining in every sense of the word.

Microgaming's Head of Production Channels, Neill Whyte explained:

"Bar Bar Black Sheep is a fun addition to our ever expanding games portfolio. Available on desktop and mobile, we are upholding our commitment to supply our operators with cross-platform content, to ensure players can experience the same game no matter what device they are playing on."

How Can You Play?

Microgaming's latest online slot game went live on 6th April 2016 across all Microgaming and Quickfire - a Microgaming subsidiary - sites, which means desktop, mobile and tablet spinners at casinos such as Leo Vegas should soon be able to inject some extra spring into their gaming exploits.

PKR Pushes Microgaming to New Heights

In addition to augmenting its online casino package, Microgaming has also seen its fortunes in the poker arena improve over the last few weeks. Following the announcement that 3D poker site PKR would be moving away from its status as an independent operator and become a networked site, Microgaming has seen traffic increase by 35%.

Commenting on the decision to move across to the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN), PKR's CEO Chris Welch explained that it provided a perfect fit for his site:

“With our software and community allied to Microgaming's advanced products, poker liquidity and proven track record, this is the perfect match” said Welch.

Although the (MPN) – which houses sites such as Grosvenor Poker – is still the eighth largest network in the online poker community, a ten-day traffic report showed that more than 2,000 players were anteing up in a 24-hour period. This increase in traffic has not only given Microgaming's poker assets a boost, but its iGaming products as a whole.

Since the majority of Microgaming sites offer easy transitions from poker to casino and sports betting, an increase in traffic in one area naturally creates a jump in activity in another. Therefore, the combination of PKR's migration to Microgaming's network and the release of Bar Bar Black Sheep should further the company's status as one of the leading iGaming outfits in the industry.
