UK Player Takes Home £6.2m on £1.25 Spin

Winning over £6 million from a bet of just £1.25 sounds like something that would only be possible in a lottery game, or in your dreams... But that is exactly what one lucky punter from the UK managed to do when he played Mega Fortune Dreams recently.

The player, from Cheshire in England, scooped the jackpot of €7,437,199.55 (roughly £6.2 million) while playing the slot game on his mobile device. The player told SBC News that he plans to take his family on a holiday to Disneyland after becoming a multi-millionaire overnight:

"When I saw the amount that I had won, I was in complete shock and disbelief, so wasn’t sure how to react. The win is life changing for me and my family and gives us security for the future. The first thing that we will enjoy with the win will be a nice family holiday to Disneyland."

Mega Fortune Crowns Another Millionaire

Mega Fortune Dreams, the latest version of the popular Mega Fortune title, is based on a theme of luxury, glitz and glamour, with symbols of gold watches, diamond rings and champagne on ice, plus a soundtrack that’s reminiscent of a spa experience. You'll certainly be living a life of luxury if you strike lucky in this game, with some huge progressive jackpots on offer.

In November, a player from Sweden landed a jackpot of just over €4 million when playing Mega Fortune Dreams at Maria Casino. In an extraordinary story, a British man recently pocketed a jackpot of £60,000 from a bet of just 18p when trying the game at Leo Vegas – thinking he was just playing the free version of the game.

Mega Jackpots

Mega Fortune Dreams is certainly living up to its name and its image. The game consists of five reels and 20 lines, and comes from the leading casino game developers Net Entertainment. The main jackpot game is triggered by three Bonus Wheel symbols appearing on the three middle reels of the slot. When a lucky player finds these three coveted symbols, they are taken to the Mega Fortune wheel, which features four progressive levels.

While there are many smaller prizes that can be won along the way, the main goal is to reach the fourth inside circle, where a huge jackpot amount can be won. The jackpot starts at €250,000 and regularly goes into the millions. Although €7.4 million is an unusually high amount of money, the biggest amount ever to be won on Mega Fortune Dreams was a staggering €17.8 million, which went to a very lucky player from Finland back in January 2013.

At the time it broke the world record for the largest ever payout from an online slot, but that record was taken by Microgaming’s Mega Moolah game in 2015. Talking about the latest big win, NetEnt’s chief product officer Simon Hammon commented:

"Mega Fortunes has yet again made another player’s dream come true. We’re delighted NetEnt's games continue to create multi-millionaires and provide casinos with the chance to change their loyal players' lives."

Where Can You Play Mega Fortune Dreams?

These stories prove that it really could be you taking home a huge jackpot from the smallest of bets. NetEnt offers some of the biggest jackpots around and its Mega Fortune and Mega Fortune Dreams titles are among the most popular online casino slots. You can try the game for free first before playing with real cash – and you may even end up winning money by accidentally placing a bet!

As one of the most prominent software providers in the industry, NetEnt’s games are available at most of the leading online casino sites. If you head to Leo Vegas now, you can try Mega Fortune Dreams for free before signing up and getting generous welcome bonuses of up to £1,500 and 120 free spins on your first four deposits. Mega Fortune Dreams is listed among Leo Vegas' top games, so go on and taste the high life!
