UEFA's European Championships - popularly known as Euro 2016 - is almost upon us, and to ensure their punters get access to the latest stats and results, Betradar has released a dedicated Live Sports Centre.
Betradar, the betting and data axis of Sportradar, is gearing up for a summer of football action with a new results portal designed exclusively for Euro 2016. Released alongside a similar data service for CONMEBOL's Copa America Centenario, the software will offer a slew of data for every match in this year's European tournament.
From in-game data, including live facts that take into account player performances and team stats, to pre and post-match odds statistics, the software will give Euro 2016 punters a comprehensive overview of the second largest football competition in the world.
While Betradar's new score centre is set to give football fans a whole new angle on Euro 2016, it's also an opportunity for the company's betting partners to enhance their summer odds. As the software is being offered as a white label solution, the likes of William Hill Sports and Coral Sports will be able to harness the score centre's plug-and-play capabilities to offer a robust betting solution for their customers.
"Without having to invest a lot of time and resources into developing a tournament specific offering in-house, our clients can spoil their customers with a product that is fast and reliable and informs them in their native language about everything that’s relevant," explained Betradar's direct of sales, Lorenzo Caci.
One of the most interesting features of the new Euro 2016 Score Centre will be the simulations option. Designed to map out certain events through a combination of current data and automated questions, the widget will give customers the necessary information and confidence they need to bet on in-game outcomes they may have otherwise overlooked.
With a 50% increase in the number of teams taking part in the European Championships this time around, Betradar's dedicated score centre looks set to become a valuable asset for many of Europe's top bookmakers. Indeed, by combining live match stats with an integrated social media feed functionality, Betradar believes that partners and punters alike will be able to access more betting data than ever before.
Beyond the release of its latest betting product, Betradar recently announced the acquisition of sportsman media holding GmbH. Known as one of Europe's largest sports media and marketing platforms, sportsman will now be absorbed into the Sportradar portfolio of products.
The deal will not only see Sportradar take control of LAOLA1.tv and LAOLA1 Multimedia, but increase its live sports content dramatically. In total, Sportradar and Sportsman broadcast 27,000 live events in 2015 and, thanks to the new deal, the former's betting partners will now receive access to at least this many broadcasts once the deal completes.
While the final completion date for the deal is yet to be set, Sportradar has said that it’ll take place no later than June 2016, which means a new system could be in place in time for Euro 2016.
However, even if the two companies can't complete the necessary paperwork in time to generate more live streaming options for Euro 2016, the new score centre should certainly give Betradar and its partners a competitive advantage over the summer.
