David Reynolds has worked at Microgaming for 12 years in different disciplines, across multiple different products. As an Isle-of-Man native, David was familiar with the company as one of the island’s major employers when he joined back in 2008.
Microgaming are perhaps best known for their Mega Moolah jackpot, a game and progressive jackpot that is available to play at the majority of well-established online casinos. Mega Moolah has been a phenomenal success for the company, contributing in large part to the more than €1.2bn in total lifetime payouts to happy customers. Now, David tells us that the company is strengthening its progressive jackpot network with more exciting games featuring the newly revamped WowPot jackpot, which was launched in February with the Wheel of Wishes slot:
“Mega Moolah has been a magnificent beast for us really. We wanted to tackle a new jackpot seed and offer even more value for players with a new jackpot, so we tasked Alchemy Gaming with Wheel of Wishes and WowPot jackpot was the brand.”
Whereas Mega Moolah has a starting seed of €1m, the WowPot jackpot seeds at an incredible €2m. It has four jackpot tiers in total, just like Mega Moolah, and the Major jackpot seeds at €50,000, which is five times higher than the Major tier in Mega Moolah.
