France vs Austria, Thursday, 7:45pm

It’s not a happy camp in France at the moment, as they head into the defence of the World Cup they won back in 2018.

Poor performances, an injury crisis, a media circus surrounding Paul Pogba and now a bizarre row between KFC, Kylian Mbappé and the French Federation have dogged Les Blues for the last few months.

The French were winless in their four games in June - losing to Denmark and a Luka Modric-inspired Croatia at home - so Didier Deschamps will know nothing but a win over Austria will do if they are to avoid an embarrassing relegation in the Nations League.

Austria, who are now under the tutelage of former Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick, can guarantee themselves safety with a victory at the Stade de France.

However, their recent away record is poor, as they lost four of their last six on their travels and France should be motivated to make a statement at Austria’s expense.

Football betting sites have France as heavy favourites (2/5) to win, but they will be without a whole host of stars for Thursday’s contest - with the likes of Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kante and Hugo Lloris all ruled out.

Don’t be surprised if this match is a lot tighter on the scoreboard then you’d expect.

Poland vs The Netherlands, Thursday, 7:45pm

Louis van Gaal

Following an unbeaten start to this Nations League campaign (W3, D1), the Netherlands find themselves on the verge of a second finals appearance, and know a victory here coupled with Belgium failing to win would seal that outcome.

The Netherlands have taken the Nations League seriously, losing just one of their last 10 group stage games (W6, D3), including three-straight away wins in UEFA’s newest international competition.

On the other hand, Poland’s home form in the Nations League has been less than impressive, with just two wins from seven games since the inaugural edition (D1, L4).

Their record versus the Dutch is pretty dismal too with no victory against them in their last 10 meetings and despite Lewandowski being amongst the goals for Barcelona, the Evens on betting apps about the Netherlands to win is too tempting to resist.

Belgium vs Wales, Thursday 7.45pm

With a 4-1 home defeat to their neighbours the Netherlands and a 6-1 thrashing of Poland on their card, it’s fair to say Belgium have had an indifferent Nations League campaign so far.

Nonetheless, they sit second in League A Group 4 with four points and will be hoping to get the better of Wales in Brussels having drawn 1-1 in Cardiff in their first meeting.

Michy Batshuayi is one of only four players to have featured in all four of Belgium’s Nations League games this campaign, and the Fenerbahce forward can expect to start again having collected two goals and two assists in just 264 minutes.

He may not be Belgium’s most-talented player, but manager Roberto Martinez trusts him to lead the line and Wales will need to be wary of his threat.

Tip: Belgium vs Wales - Michy Batshuayi Anytime Goalscorer - 13/10 With Paddy Power
