Rush Street Interactive operates BetRivers.com and SugarHouse.com. The company launched PlaySugarHouse.com in New Jersey in 2016 and said in the release that 88 Fortune was the most popular game for players there. The PlaySugarHouse.com site was the first legal online sportsbook in Pennsylvania.

“We are excited to partner with Scientific Games to be the first online operator in Pennsylvania to bring these top quality and well-known casino games to our players,” RSI President Richard Schwartz said. ”88 Fortunes is already the most popular slot game out of over 550 slot games on PlaySugarHouse.com in New Jersey and we expect Pennsylvania players will love playing it online just as much.”

The BetRivers online casino and PlaySugarHouse websites in Pennsylvania are offering to match a new customer’s initial deposit upon registering for up to $250.

Pennsylvania Slots Proving To Be Popular

Playing online slots in the United States for real money is legal in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In February alone, Pennsylvania received $448.9 million in wagers on interactive slots and made just over $8 million in gross revenue on them, according to numbers posted by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

At the 12 physical casinos in Pennsylvania – now all closed because of the coronavirus — slots brought in $2.5 billion in wagers and about $200 million in gross revenue in February. It’s common for gaming companies to turn popular physical slot machines into real money online slots — for instance, RSI said that the new online slots it is offering are favorites at Rivers Casino locations in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Mad Mad Monkey and Starmania are two examples that are already available in the U.S. market.
