Roar Digital and Sportradar today announced an extension of their U.S. partnership through September 2026.

Sportradar will continue to provide U.S. sports data for Roar Digital’s mobile sports-betting app, BetMGM. The app will also have access to Sportradar’s live streaming of sports events in the U.S., according to details of the extension.

ROAR Digital is a joint venture between MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings, while Sportradar, based in Switzerland, provides and analyzes sports data and content.

“Sportradar has been an excellent partner for BetMGM and the expansion of our existing deal speaks to our long-term commitment to one another,” Matt Prevost, chief marketing officer of ROAR Digital, said in a news release. “Streaming is a great offering for our customers and when paired with fast, reliable data, puts us in a great place to ensure that we can deliver the future of sports betting experiences in the U.S.”

BetMGM, Sportradar Have Announced Other Deals

Both companies have made news recently. Roar Digital announced on June 18 that it was entering into a sports betting partnership with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in Oregon, according to a news release.

Under that agreement, Roar Digital will serve as exclusive sports betting partner to the tribe. It will also open a BetMGM retail sportsbook at the tribe’s Spirit Mountain Casino. Roar has the option for an on-reservation mobile sports betting app if the state sets regulations and gives approval, a news release said.

BetMGM was also one of the first online sportsbooks to go live in Colorado when sports betting launched on May 1. It joined BetRivers, DraftKings and FanDuel in becoming operational the first day.

On June 17, Sportradar and FanDuel announced an extension of their deal to include the use of official NFL league, giving FanDuel access to all major U.S. professional sports league data. That extension came a day after FanDuel announced a partnership with the Denver Broncos, the first such deal between an NFL team and a sportsbook.

With the extension of the deal between Sportradar and BetMGM, both companies are positioned for future growth of the U.S. sports-betting market.

“ROAR Digital has been an excellent partner, and we look forward to continuing this for many more years,” Neale Deeley, vice president of U.S. sales and gaming for Sportradar. “BetMGM deeply understands mobile sports betting, and we are incredibly excited to be working alongside the ROAR team to continuously deliver the best experiences for their customers.”
