New Jersey internet casino, Play SugarHouse, took a major step towards setting itself apart from the competition with a huge partnership that could make online gambling easier for gamers to despot and withdrawal their funds.
By partnering with Wyrz, a temporary online credit account company, SugarHouse became the first ever New Jersey online casino to acquire the ability to accept all brands of credit card. This innovation will no doubt push competitors to follow suit leading to a better market for all and in the meantime, SugarHouse will reap the benefits.
Richard Schwartz, President of Rush Street Interactive the gaming company that owns PlaySugarHouse.com is excited to relieve the stress of customers having credit card issues with the move.
“We’re excited that more of our players can now reliably use their preferred payment methods, debit and credit cards, to fund their online casino accounts at PlaySugarHouse. Our collaboration with Wyrz to introduce this new and exciting payment method to the US market is the latest example of SugarHouse Online Casino continuing to lead the way in New Jersey with new games and payment methods for our players’ enjoyment.”
Aside from PlaySugarHouse.com, Rush Street Interactive operates innovative social casino sites such as riverscasino4fun.com and sugarhouse4fun.com as well as other websites closely related to brick-and-mortar casinos.
The company rightly views itself as a leader in bringing gambling in America into the future by acting as a bridge between traditional brick and mortar gambling establishments and a host of different iGaming platforms. Schwartz continued by touting the company’s initiative in his praise of the partnership.
“As we have done over the past year, we hope to continue to be the first to bring new content and payment solutions to the online gaming market, always striving to make playsugarhouse.com the best possible experience for our players.”
Wyrz is a prepaid Visa card that customers can deposit cash into from their preferred credit card. While this works for some users immediately, others will be taken to PlaySugarHouse’s cashier page where they can complete the transaction. Once at the page, they continue by depositing the money onto their Wyrz card and then directly into PlaySugarHouse.
The whole procedure takes around five extra seconds, but such a miniscule amount of time is an incredible improvement for players. Customers using Bank of America, Capital One, JP Morgan Chase, TD Bank who may have experienced trouble depositing should no longer have any issues.
Justin Lunny, CEO of Wyrz, announced that the company was excited to join with Rush Street in order to launch the first of its operations in the United States:
“We’re delighted to have formally launched Wyrz in the U.S. with Rush Street’s PlaySugarHouse.com. Rush Street is a perfect partner for us with their continued focus and commitment to innovation and the player experience. Wyrz will further enhance player satisfaction, helping remove friction from the account funding process which at present can be frustrating.”
Wyrz imposes a minimum deposit of $15 and a maximum of $1,500 and virtual cards can’t be reloaded because they don’t need to be. Each time a deposit is made, a new virtual card is created in the name of the depositor.
Wyrz cards are distributed by Metropolitan Commercial Bank (Member FDIC), and customers can check their balance at any time online at wryzo.co under the “My Cards” tab. If a Wyrz card goes unused after 24 hours, the money is automatically refunded to the depositing credit card.
