Colts Make Sports Betting Partnerships with Caesars, WynnBET
The Indianapolis Colts are bolstering their sports betting presence with two new deals. Both Caesars Entertainment and WynnBET announced multi-year partnerships with the team on Friday.
Here’s a rundown of what’s included in each partnership.
Caesars is now the only official casino partner of the Colts. The new deal expands upon the existing partnerships the Colts have with Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino and Indiana Grand Racing & Casino.
"We've been a proud partner with Caesars properties in Indiana for some time now, but this new partnership expands our ability to offer Colts fans a truly unique experience, whether at Lucas Oil Stadium or watching from home on game day," Roger VanDerSnick, Colts chief sales & marketing officer, said in a media release.
Colts fans can expect new Caesars marketing and sponsorship assets at Lucas Oil Stadium. The naming rights for the stadium’s south gate is now Caesars South Gate.
There will also be a new Caesars Sportsbook Lounge at the former Blue Room at Lucas Oil Stadium. The entertainment area will be open to fans 21 years and older and include live Caesars odds, in addition to Caesars ambassadors who will help fans download the Caesars Sportsbook app to place bets.
Caesars Sportsbook will also sponsor the free-to-play “Pick 6” predictor games on the Colts Mobile App. The Pick 6 Predictor generates six questions about the upcoming game, and fans have the chance to predict the outcome. Indiana sports betting winners are awarded weekly prizes, while all participants are entered into a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas and stay at a Caesars Entertainment resort.
"Expanding our sponsorship with the Colts to serve as their premier sports betting partner and only casino partner is an exciting step in our longstanding relationship," said Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital. "Indiana has been a special place for our company, and we know how passionate these great sports fans are for their home team. Caesars will continue to push for innovation to bring the best in sports experiences, both in-person and on mobile, to the Hoosier State through Caesars Sportsbook and our partnership with the NFL."
Also on Friday, Caesars announced a sports betting deal with LSU to become an official sportsbook partner.
Similar to Caesars, WynnBET will have its lounge inside Lucas Oil Stadium. The previous West Club at Lucas Oil Stadium will be renamed the WynnBET Club. The newly branded club will be open to those 21 and older and feature a sports bar environment in the upstairs level of the club for NFL betting, as well as a WynnBET VIP area.
Former Colts defensive end Robert Mathis was also introduced as a new brand ambassador. Mathis was a five-time pro bowler, the 2013 AFC Defensive Player of the Year and a Super Bowl champion with the Colts. He will appear at in-person events representing WynnBet Sportsbook.
On gamedays, WynnBET will host a lounge at the team’s pregame tailgate area called Touchdown Town. WynnBET will hand out prizes to guests older than 21 and offer fan activations and present appearances from Colts’ legends and WynnBET brand ambassadors.
WynnBET will serve as the presenting sponsor on the Official Colts Podcast and also become the title sponsor of the team’s mobile app. WynnBET will be one of the team’s sponsors for its radio programming.
Fans will also notice more WynnBET branding on the stadium’s north end zone LED screen. WynnBET will be featured on the gameday lineup cars that are handed out to fans in suites at the venue, in addition to the WynnBET Club.
