Days after becoming the first sportsbook operator to reach a partnership deal with an NFL team, FanDuel will have access to official NFL betting data through an expansion of an agreement with Sportradar.

On Monday, FanDuel announced it would partner with the Denver Broncos. On Wednesday, FanDuel announced it would have use of official NFL league data from Sportradar, according to a news release.

FanDuel said it now has access to all major U.S. professional sports league data through Sportradar.

“We’ve been long-time partners with Sportradar, a company that shares a unique vision of engaging with sports fans, so extending the depth of our partnership with Sportradar was a natural next step,” Niall Connell, general manager of FanDuel Sportsbook, said in the release. “Continuing to use Sportradar stats will allow us to further deliver on our promise of improving the experience for our customers.”

FanDuel Has Variety of Offerings

FanDuel, in partnership with Sportradar, was the first sports betting operator to live stream tennis and European soccer on its app. FanDuel also offers live streaming for international soccer matches, darts and Korean baseball.

“FanDuel has been an excellent partner, and we’re pleased to expand our relationship with them,” Neale Deeley, Sportradar’s vice president of U.S. Sales and Gaming, said in the release. “FanDuel remains on the forefront of the betting and gaming industry and consistently delivers for its loyal customers. We look forward to continued success together.”

Sportradar is a global provider of sports data. In August, it signed a multiyear agreement with the NFL to collect and distribute game and player data to sportsbook operators. It is also the official partner of the NBA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, FIFA and UEFA.

That NFL-Sportradar deal was an extension of an existing partnership, which began in 2015 when the NFL selected the company to be distributor of the league’s official play-by-play statistics and other information.

In November, Sportradar announced an extension of a long-term partnership with DraftKings to provide data feeds and bet simulation content.

In May, the NFL allowed for marketing agreements between its teams and sportsbook operators, further expanding its acceptance of sports betting. The Broncos-FanDuel pairing was the first partnership, but it won’t be the last for NFL teams and sportsbook operators.
