Colorado has another option for online sports betting.

Parent company Carousel Group announced Monday that has gone live with its online sportsbook in Colorado. It took its first wager last week.

It is the 15th online sportsbook to go live in the state, following the Betfred USA Sports launch on Sept. 11 and William Hill’s entry on Sept. 10. Colorado launched legal sports betting May 1 with four online sportsbooks.

In the first three months of sports betting in Colorado, the total handle was $123 million with few sports to bet on as most professional sports leagues were shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic. When the state releases the August total handle, it could top in a single month what it has seen in its first three months.

“We are incredibly excited to unveil to the United States, it feels like Christmas in September," Carousel Group CEO Daniel Graetzer said in a news release. "This project is the culmination of years of planning and hard work, and finally we get to see our product live in the booming Colorado market.”

New customers in Colorado who sign up can enjoy a week of risk-free betting where the sportsbook will refund not just one, but all losing wagers up to $500. They are also offering some unique promos as well such as the first touchdown scored of NFL and Denver Broncos games, as well as triple-doubles from players in the Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat NBA conference finals.

It’s a good time for sports betting in Colorado with the NFL season underway, the Nuggets in the NBA Western Conference finals and MLB about to head to the playoffs, albeit likely without the Colorado Rockies.

Interesting Lines Offered

The site is also taking a unique trading approach with five-cent lines for game spreads and totals.

“We will stand by our pledge to offer some of the best odds and highest limits in the market, meaning we'll provide great value for customers, and we won't kick out players just because they are winning,” Graetzer said. “We are obsessed with user experience and developing great end-user products, so we will be unleashing some incredible features over the coming months.

“There's an insatiable appetite for sports betting in Colorado, and we couldn't be more pleased that our maiden voyage to the U.S. will be aboard the Centennial ship.”

The company said the first bet it took in Colorado late last Wednesday was on the Dodgers, which ended up a winning ticket for the customer, the news release said. The next full day of betting saw a customer win $7,000 on a six-team MLB parlay.'s online platform will be accompanied by a mobile app, which is still in development, but expected to be available for download in Apple's App Store and Google Play as early as next week.
