WynnBET Sportsbook Joins Tennessee Sports Betting Market
WynnBET launched its mobile sportsbook in Tennessee on Friday after receiving approval from the Sports Wagering Committee of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corp. earlier this year.
The market went live on Nov. 1 with four sportsbooks.
The March sports betting handle in Tennessee was $205.9 million, an increase of $29.6 million (16.8%) from February’s $176.3 million. The March number fell just below its record of $211.3 million set in January.
WynnBET Partners With Grizzles
WynnBET, the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts, had previously announced a sports betting agreement with the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies. The deal kicks in for home games on May 10, 11, 13 and 14 at FedExForum, including the debut of the WynnBET touring vehicle, a custom-built mobile experience that travels the country hosting events and special appearances, according to a news release.
The Grizzlies and WynnBET will focus on a digital-first approach, with integrations across an array of digital and broadcast programs from the Grizzlies and Grind City Media, an on-demand media platform and digital content studio.
Currently available in New Jersey, Colorado, Michigan, Virginia, Indiana, and Tennessee, WynnBET has market access opportunities in six other states and several pending license applications in process, the release said.
WynnBET is an authorized gaming operator of NASCAR and partner of the Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons, with more partnerships to be announced in the future, the release said.
