LeoVegas' Live Betting Odds Featured in Search Engine Maps

One of the most progressive gaming sites in terms of unique products and features, the Stockholm-based LeoVegas has launched an absolutely groundbreaking new feature to accompany their budding bookmaker. Punters in Sweden, the initial test market, can now see live betting odds when browsing online for arenas and event sites!

LeoVegas Takes on Betting

The self-proclaimed "King of Mobile Casino Gaming", LeoVegas, introduced a massive new product last year, one that greatly expanded the company’s overall reach and influence in the iGaming industry. We are referring, of course, to the impressive LeoVegas Sports, the first ever sportsbook offered by the Swedish gaming giants.

This new offering was rolled out at different dates and times in different countries and jurisdictions around the globe. Among the lucky nations included in the initial launch was Sweden, the country where LeoVegas was originally founded in 2011 and the country that still houses the company’s headquarters located in Stockholm.

Sweden Sees Live Odds in Maps

LeoVegas has chosen to target their homeland with a unique new advertising campaign that aims to spread awareness of their sportsbook by getting available wagers in front of those that might be most interested in wagering on sports. They have done this by partnering with the popular Swedish search engine Hitta.se.

The marketing strategy consists of integrating sports odds into specific search results for those very same users. At present, the most prominent example of this partnership comes when users utilize the map functionality of Hitta.se to search for a specific address. If that address is for an arena or sports bar, the LeoVegas integration kicks in.

Understanding the Groundbreaking Experience

For arena searches, LeoVegas and Hitta check to see if there is a sporting event active or upcoming at the venue in question. And if there is an event worth wagering expected at the site, the most recent odds on that particular market are displayed on the map along with the address and other traditional info displayed.

For sports bars the results can be slightly more varied, as the algorithm may spit out a sporting event taking place nearby or simply one that is likely to be televised in the establishment. While the examples given above are the cleverest and most relevant instances of the partnership, they are far from the only ones.

In addition to the heavy presence on Hitta location services, LeoVegas and their brand ambassadors are promoting a variety of searches without sporting ties. If this search integration is anything like what is being done for location services, the results will feature relevant LeoVegas content without being overly intrusive or disruptive.

This unique set-up and marketing strategy is yet another innovation launched as a part of LeoVegas’ cutting-edge marketing strategy, one that is informed by the company’s data-driven approach, and one that has seen Chief Marketing Officer Louise Nylen become one of the most respected and decorated members of her field.

The partnership between LeoVegas and Hitta was launched very recently, and at present is set to continue for the next three months. If you're interested in seeing the live odds and don't happen to be within the Swedish boarders, simply head over to the LeoVegas Sports website and check out all the latest odds for any event!
