New Match & Player Specials Markets at Ladbrokes and Coral

Ladbrokes Coral Group has launched a range of new sports betting markets across both the Ladbrokes and Coral bookmaking sites. The latest Match & Player Specials markets are powered by Digital Sports Tech (DST) and combine prop bets and popular match markets to create same-game accumulators, powered by DST’s software!

Multiple Bets on the Same Match

DST is a sports betting solutions provider that specialises in player performance betting – creating, pricing and settling player performance markets. Ladbrokes Coral is their most high-profile partner and they now have extended their existing partnership with the sportsbook giant, a major win for the budding solutions provider.

The Match & Player Specials take DST’s proprietary player prop bets along with conventional match markets such as both teams to score. This enables punters to create same-game accumulators. Example would be betting on Aguero to score two goals (a prop bet), Man City to win and over 2.5 goals (two match bets).

These new markets have arrived in good time with the football season now in full swing and less than a year to go until the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Bookies will be battling for business ahead of next summer’s tournament and these new markets give Ladbrokes and Coral customers more options in their football betting.

Tapping Into A Growing Trend

Same-game accumulators and player performance betting are becoming increasing popular, particularly among younger punters who are more likely to bet in-play and who are more influenced by social media advertising. Ari Lewski, executive director of Digital Sports Ltd, said:

"With the new football season in full-swing, we’re thrilled to be expanding our existing partnership with Ladbrokes Coral by powering and facilitating all of their new player prop and accumulator betting markets."
"The popularity of same-game accumulators has grown exponentially in recent seasons, particularly with millennials who are highly active via social media channels. We feel with the addition of our player props that we are adding a whole new and exciting dimension to these markets."
"Ladbrokes Coral are known for their innovative approach and have seen the value in offering these types of markets; not only to boost revenues but also acquire the next generation of customers and keep ahead of the curve."

Utilising State-of-the-Art Technology

The same-game accumulators are powered by DST’s new Quick Pick Accumulators (QPAs) product, which enables punters to combine multiple markets from the same game into one accumulator. The QPAs are priced instantly using DST’s platform and algorithms which analyse each individual bet to generate the odds for the accumulator.

The new markets also make use of DST’s Feed Handler solution, a customised console which is integrated onto the OpenBet sportsbook platform. It allows the operator’s traders to create and customise all of their own player prop and accumulator markets which are are then automatically pushed directly to the operator’s front-end within their existing event pages.

"We take a customer-first approach to innovation and the Digital Sports Tech solution allows us to provide a better user interface for match and player markets. Customers are demanding growth in this area and being the first operator to offer these player and match propositions combined is a significant statement for Ladbrokes Coral. DST have proven themselves to be both flexible and reliable in delivering such an outstanding feature – and we are looking to further expand our coverage quickly."
Gary Gallagher, Director of Digital Product at Ladbrokes Coral

Continuing To Lead The Way

It's been a good start to the season for Ladbrokes. In the summer, the sportsbook and casino provider announced new sponsorship deals with Premier League clubs Leicester City and Burnley as well as Championship side Sheffield United.

It became Britain’s biggest bookmaker when it merged with Gala Coral Group in 2015 and continues to innovate in a competitive and rapidly changing industry. With these new Match & Player Specials markets, Ladbrokes is staking on the growing trend of same-game accumulators and player performance betting.
