RBC Heritage Betting Tips, 2019 Odds & Golfers to Back
His presence in Augusta sparked a litany of golf wagers, which is expected whenever Tiger is involved in a tournament. That won't be the case this weekend though, as Woods will skip the RBC Heritage.
With Tiger out of the action this week, it will be Dustin Johnson who enters as the odds-on favorite to win.

Dustin Johnson Leads the Field
Is Johnson the best bet to win the RBC Heritage? Possibly, although there are some other intriguing bets available.
DJ ended The Masters on a tear, so he may have some of that late momentum entering Thursday's round.
He finished tied for second in Augusta, connecting with a birdie on four of his final five holes to record a 68 for the final round.
His odds to lead the RBC Heritage after the first round are currently 14/1, the highest odds of any golfer.
If there is any conviction that his late Masters' surge will immediately carry over into Hilton Head, there is value in the above bet.
For those wanting to play things a bit safe, DJ finishing in the top 20 seems like a lock (2/6).
Even seeing Johnson finish within the top 10 is expected, as he has finished in the top 10 five straight PGA tournaments.
For those feeling risky but would still like a safety net, Johnson finishing top 5 at 15/9 would be the way to go.
It's also worth noting that DJ is from the South Carolina area, so he is very familiar with that region and the courses located there. Take Dustin Johnson with 888Sport.
A Historic Trend to Bet?
One of the most common RBC Heritage trends the past few years has been the number of playoffs we've seen.
Last year, Satoshi Kodaira won the event in a playoff round against Si-Woo Kim.
Jim Furyk won his second RBC Heritage in 2015, defeating Kevin Kisner in a playoff round. Furyk also won a playoff round in 2010 against Brian Davis.
Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker also won their RBC Heritage trophies in a playoff round.
Over the last nine years, five RBC Heritage's have been won in a playoff round so perhaps taking a playoff at 7/2 is a solid value bet?
The last six RBC Heritage events have been won by two strokes or less.
If the event doesn't go into a playoff round for a second straight year, seeing the tournament won by either one stroke (+5/2) or two strokes (4/1) may not be bad picks either. Take the winning margin with 888Sport.

Two golfers stand out as solid 'long shot' bets, both very familiar with being successful at this event.
As mentioned earlier, Jim Furyk has won this event two times in a playoff round.
Furyk also finished as a runner-up in two other RBC Heritage events, so he is very familiar with the course and has been in many pressured situations at Harbour Town.
Furyk currently has odds at 11/8 to finish within the top 20 and odds at 11/4 to finish in the top 10.
Luke Donald is the other golfer to keep an eye on, despite never winning the RBC Heritage.
Donald has seen himself as an RBC Heritage runner-up five times throughout his career, which is more than any other golfer.
His last second-place finish came in 2017, as he has been a runner-up in three out of the last five years.
All three losses have been by two strokes or less. His current odds to finish as the top European player is 20/1. Bet on long shots to win with BetHard.
