World’s First Bitcoin-Only Online Casino Gets Site Revamp

The Coingaming Group first launched its Bitcoin-exclusive casino,, in January 2014 and received a lot of attention from software developers such as Play’n GO and NetEnt. Now, with the crypto-currency’s popularity on the rise, the company has decided it’s time for a revamp of its Bitcoin-only casino! Launches Brand New Site Design has undergone a total redesign, starting with the site’s logo. Originally the ‘B’ in was shaped like the currency symbol, while the word ‘Bit’ was shaded in orange to contrast with the rest of the letters in white. This colour combination remains, although it’s now presented on a purple backdrop.

The casino has opted for a cleaner font in white, with only the dot in orange to match the new logo, which is a ‘B’ fashioned from orange dots in a halftone style. The subtle refresh of the logo and branding has filtered down throughout the entire site. Dominic Bourke, Director of Casino at the Coingaming Group, said:

"It has been a hugely successful few years for Bitcasino, but we felt it was time to offer our players a next-level experience that delivers the very best in ‘fun, fast and fair’ gaming. The rebrand includes a brand new, fully responsive Bitcasino site and added functionality including greater personalisation, offering a truly world-class online casino experience to our growing player base."

What the New Offers

Members of the old casino will no doubt be pleased by the new design, with options and menu placements that should make it quicker and easier to find games to play. The sleek redesign also brings with it a ton more games, with now offering more than 1,300 titles across desktop and mobile platforms.

These titles include video slots, casino games, and live dealer games. There’s a special focus on mobile devices, optimising the site for an on-the-go experience to be enjoyed via a smart phone or tablet. It’s no coincidence that the facelift went live recently, when Bitcoin gambling is also on the rise.

This is true especially for markets such as Asia and South America, and so is working hard to bring its brand to new customers in countries such as Japan, Russia, Brazil and Portugal. The overhaul of the casino also sees a number of new language options added to support its entry into these territories.

In order to be seen favourably in markets both old and new, has retained the handsome bonuses it’s known for, including two welcome packages. During the relaunch window, players will also be able to enter a competition to win a deluxe trip to the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore, which takes place from September 15-17, 2017.

Bitcoin Gambling on the Rise

The redesign of comes weeks after the Coingaming Group, which operates the Bitcoin casino site as well as the Bitcoin sportsbook, made a number of senior appointments that are set to lead it to new heights in 2017. These include Olga Kikas, who has been named Head of Marketing, and Ralph Clark, who has been appointed Head of Business Intelligence across the entire Coingaming Group.

"I am very pleased to be bringing in a group of individuals with such a strong and varied wealth of knowledge from different areas of the industry, and I am excited to see what they can offer in the coming months. Our recent rate of growth has been rapid, and to keep up with this we have actively looked to employee industry experts, and I believe Olga, Ralph, Dominic and Joao can help us build on this success even further."
Tim Heath, CEO of the Coingaming Group

Because of its very nature, it’s difficult to put an exact figure on the number of people using Bitcoin. But what we do know is that it has grown rapidly in the space of ten years and the community using it now has the momentum to push for more companies and organisations to adopt it.

The benefits to Bitcoin gambling sites are that it costs miniscule processing fees compared to traditional transaction methods to buy or sell in Bitcoin. Players also benefit by using it, with the crypto-currency offering transparent, instantaneous processing speeds, while leaving behind the need for any sensitive data to be shared.

However, many of the licensing bodies in the gambling industry are still wary of the new technology, including the UK Gambling Commission. It is this hurdle that Bitcoin casinos will need to overcome in order to push into more markets and countries. To join in the boom of legal bitcoin gambling, head over and join today!
