Yggdrasil Confirms Launch of iSENSE 2.0+

Just as Yggdrasil gamers thought the brand’s library of offerings couldn’t get any better, the company has announced plans to roll out iSENSE 2.0+ in the summer of 2017. This game-changing HTML client framework provides the platform for Yggdrasil’s outstanding game features, including super-crisp graphics and incredibly smooth gameplay.

The revamped version of iSENSE 2.0+ is set to include a host of upgrades that will improve the experience of the end user. The full release is due this summer, although earlier versions – including the upcoming Power Plant – will feature some of the improvements as a teaser to the main event. These are exciting times for Yggdrasil, as its chief product officer, Krzysztof Opalka, confirmed.

"iSENSE 2.0+ is yet another game-changer from Yggdrasil, so we are delighted to announce its upcoming launch. Several of the new features are already available for operators to trial, and we will be rolling out the full framework in the coming months. We are always looking at ways to enhance the user experience, and iSENSE 2.0+ has been designed with exactly this in mind."

Standing Still is Not an Option

In an ever-changing technological landscape, it is essential that software developers and games providers keep moving forward or they risk being left behind. The release of iSENSE 2.0+ is a real fillip for Yggdrasil, who are considered one of the more innovative brands in the business.

The raft of features included with iSENSE 2.0+ have been revealed, and these look set to revolutionise iGaming in the months and years to come. The first obvious improvement comes within the modernised UI on both the desktop and mobile sides.

This is more in keeping with the industry move to an app-style user experience, and ensures the software is future-proofed. A useful innovation that will enhance the experience of the gamer is in-game deposits, which will allow players to top up their accounts with a single tap of the screen – and, most importantly, without having to leave their current game.

To bring its latest releases into line with contemporary tech, Yggdrasil has also announced that its new slate of games will support both Retina Display screens and Force Touch. This ensures that the action will look even better on high-definition displays than it does now.

Also important is the news that iSENSE 2.0+ will be upgraded continually in the future, rather than stagnating as an ‘off-the-shelf’ product. This ensures that the software will stay at the forefront of online casino gaming expertise.

Magical Qualities

Yggdrasil’s reputation as a high-quality software house precedes it, and the games catalogue it has created so far means future new releases are expected to be of a similar standard.

The name of the brand is taken from Norse mythology, where the Yggdrasil was a huge tree said to have mystical powers that connected the nine worlds of cosmology. That theme extends to its games, which are truly magical, not the least the ‘joker trilogy’ of Jokerizer, the Dark Joker Rizes and the infamous Joker Millions, which has paid out huge sums in winnings to players courtesy of its progressive jackpot.

Delivering What You Want

The company is happy to take advantage of its underdog status in an industry where mega-bucks are routinely invested. The fact that Yggdrasil continues to thrive as others flounder in this competitive marketplace is because it possesses something money can’t buy: an innate understanding of what gamers want. That’s how innovations like iSENSE came about in the first place, as a reaction to the changing demand from Flash to HTML-driven productions.

Winning key industry silverware including 'Innovator of the Year 'at the 2017 International Gaming Awards and 'Slot Supplier of the Year' at the 2016 EGR Awards duly followed. It looks like the months ahead are packed with possibilities for Yggdrasil, and if its latest release, Power Plant, is anything to go by then players are in for a treat.

The first game to utilise aspects of iSENSE 2.0+, Power Plant serves up Retina Display enhanced graphics – this really is as good as it gets visually – plus 82 paylines, eight-stack wilds and maximum payout of 32,800 coins.
