RedBet is one of the most established brands on the Microgaming Network. Its new online poker platform has a focus on small-stakes players – thanks to a clever bonus system, you can get more if you play for less. RedBet has been active online since 2004 and is fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. To learn a little bit more about what RedBet Poker, check out our review.
RedBet Poker is part of the Evoke Gaming group, which means two things. You’re joining a site that’s part of a larger betting network. From a software perspective, a large proportion of RedBet’s products are located online. Whenever you want to play blackjack or have a flutter on your favourite team, this is where you’ll use the Flash.
In line with other top poker sites, RedBet provides a fully downloadable platform for PCs and Macs. Evoke’s software plugs into the Microgaming Network seamlessly, which means you can resize and tile multiple tables at will and generally move from variant to variant without too many issues.
Before you start betting and bluffing, the RedBet Poker site asks you to choose an alias and location, and you can be as creative as you like. Tabs are black with white text and a dash of red at the top of the screen. The quick seat function takes you to the next available table with a single click and the table lists don’t jump around. When you start playing, you’ll notice the tables are set in various real-life settings.
Players trust RedBet and that means the games are always busy. Because most players are long-time grinders, the selection isn’t confined to Hold’em and Omaha. At other poker sites, the range of cash games and tournaments is sometimes fairly limited simply because the players aren’t experienced enough to demand more.
At RedBet Poker you’ll find standard and fast-fold cash games, MTTs and Sit & Go tournaments. A small stakes cash game allows you to ante-up from €1, while tournaments are from €0.01. What we really liked about the tournament roster is the Fish Party games. Essentially a lottery-style Sit & Go tournament, these allow you to buy-in for an amount between €1 and €50.
Once you’ve done that, the prize pool is set and you compete against two players in a winner-takes-all format. The nice thing about these games is that you never know how much you’re going to win. As well as random prize pools, progressive jackpots are also available, which means you could bank upwards of €350,000 from as little as €50.
From the section above, you’ll know there are plenty of cash games and tournaments. Beyond this, there are six variants to choose from. Hold’em and Omaha dominate the lobby but you’ll also find Seven Card Stud, Five Card Stud, Razz and Five Card Draw. In comparison to some of the larger online poker sites there are slightly fewer options than you might expect. However, the six variants on offer are more than enough for the average player so you shouldn’t struggle to find a game you enjoy.
Microgaming runs one of the larger online poker networks, so don’t be surprised if you find some skilled players in the mid- and high-stakes games. However, if you’re a solid player who doesn’t do anything too crazy, you should find that you can hold your own in most of the RedBet Poker games.
Getting something extra at RedBet is a simple matter of making a deposit. Perhaps the best thing about the site’s welcome bonus is that you get a better deal if you’re a small-stakes player. Although those who can deposit more will get more in return, the payback rate is better at the bottom level.
RedBet Poker’s support team is active between 08:00 and 00:00 GMT via the following methods: Email, Live Chat or Telephone. Payments are cleared instantly when you deposit at least €10 using the following methods: Visa, Paysafecard, Neteller and Skrill.
On the way out, the minimum withdrawal is €20 using Visa and Trustly, and any account not using Euro will have a 1.5% fee attached to each transaction. Following a pending period of 24 hours, it will take between one and five days using Trustly bank transfers, while Visa withdrawals are instant.

By giving small-stakes players access to the best bonuses, this operator is calling out for newbies to ante-up. If you’re one of these players, you’ll get more for your time online. In contrast, if you’re a mid-level player, this focus on casuals means the level of competition isn’t world-class. That, in turn, means you should be able to achieve a solid win rate when you join RedBet Poker.
|simple, easy to use interface||no mixed games|
|solid selection of games||small fee for non-Euro withdrawals|
