Paddy Power Sports has had to crack open the coffers after one very lucky punter secured a massive prize of €32,600 with a stunning horse racing accumulator win. The winning bet was a tenfold accumulator that featured ten race-favourite horses, which the victorious gambler backed with a €10 stake.
The anonymous winner from Wexford, in Ireland, was forced to endure a torturous wait before being allowed to pick up his prize because a steward’s enquiry was needed to decide the winner of the last race on his accumulator. Luckily for him, Atmospheric High was declared the winner in the 9:20pm race in Dundalk, completing his tenfold bet and bagging him the €32,600 return.
After the win, a Paddy Power spokesperson said of the punter: “Having faced a steward’s enquiry on the last leg it’s fair to say that he’s earned it. This is truly weapons grade punting and I hope he enjoys his winnings.”
The winning accumulator featured the selections listed below:
An accumulator is a bet made up of a number of wagers, in which all selections need to be correct in order to win. Accumulators can offer punters potentially massive returns from a relatively small stake, as the winnings from each correct selection are then placed on the next wager.
If you'd like to put together your own accumulator bet on horses or other sports, head over to Paddy Power Sports today to see if you can turn a small stake into big winnings.
