NFL Four-Team Parlay Best Bet to Consider Backing Week 10
- Bet Packers (-8.5) & Chargers (-10) & Buccaneers (-3) & Bears-Lions (under 45) at +1266 with 888Sport.
Week 10 of the NFL betting season features a number of big spreads, including the Kansas City Chiefs (-17), who might end up closing as the biggest favorite of the season. We also have three other games with a favorite of 10 or more and a couple of those are in our weekly parlay picks.
Pick #1: Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers (-8.5)
The Packers are coming off back-to-back tough losses, but the good news is both were on the road. On Sunday, they return home, where they are 3-0-1 this season. What’s even better is they get a visit from the Dolphins, who have doing their best to tread water since their opening 3-0 start.
Miami has lost four of six with the road losses have been bad. They’ve lost by an average of 20 points per game. Quarterback Brock Osweiler – who has been filling in for the injured Ryan Tannehill – started hot when he led the Dolphins to a win over the Bears.
However, he has just 380 passing yards in the last two weeks with no touchdowns and one interception while completing 59% of his passes.
The Packers are going to be focused here because their playoff hopes are on the line. After facing the Patriots and Rams the last two weeks, this should feel like a much easier task. Take the Packers -8.5 at 888Sport.
Pick #2: Los Angeles Chargers (-10) at Oakland Raiders
Last Thursday night, the Raiders showed us that they’ve tapped out. They were smoked by the one-win San Francisco 49ers, who were led by an undrafted free agent quarterback making his first start. Worse yet, Nick Mulllens shredded the Raiders en route to a 34-3 win.
The Raiders just have no life to them. Their defense is atrocious, giving up 34.2 points per game over their last five. What’s even uglier is that the Raiders have mostly played bad teams. They’ve only faced two teams with a winning record.
The Chargers are on a roll right now, having won five straight. This should be a breeze for them. Bet the Chargers -10 at 888Sport.
Pick #3: Washington Redskins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3)
A lot of people will look at the division-leading Redskins this week and be enticed to bet them as an underdog. While their opponent – the Bucs – have a number of issues, I’m selling on the Redskins. Yes, they’ve had a good start to the season by winning five of their first eight games but you can see their flaws. They weren’t able to stop Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense in any way, shape or form last week as they gave up 38 points.
My bigger concern is their offense, which could be down four starters this week. Guard Brandon Scherff is expected to be out after tearing his pec in Week 9 and the unit also lost left guard Shawn Lauvao to what appeared to be a season-ending injury.
Left tackle Trent Williams is already out about a month and right tackle Morgan Moses left Sunday’s game too, although we don’t know his status. They also lost deep threat Paul Richardson for the season.
The Bucs have a slew of flaws but they seem to play better under Ryan Fitzpatrick. And given the Redskins challenges along the offensive line, the Bucs should be in position to earn their fourth win of the season. Take the Bucs -3 at 888Sport.
Pick #4: Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears (O/U 45)
The Lions first game without Golden Tate didn’t go so well as they totaled just nine points in Minnesota. The stats were ugly as they averaged just 3.0 yards per play and lost by 15 even though they ran 24 more offensive plays than the Vikings.
The problem with the Tate trade was two-fold: It signaled to the team that they’re not competing this season and secondly, it didn’t address their other glaring concerns. The offensive line has had issues opening up lanes for the running game and on Sunday, they broke down even more so by allowing a whopping 10 sacks.
This is an indoor team that will be traveling outdoors to Chicago to face one of the league’s better defenses. I just don’t see the Lions putting up a lot of points. The Bears will run the ball and try to be efficient but I don’t see this being a high-scoring game that gets to the 50s. Bet the Under at 888Sport.
