Much to the delight of sports betting punters, Ladbrokes has recently signed an exciting new content partnership deal with Real Sports Global (RSG) to expand their gaming portfolio.
The deal will see RSG’s full range of products launched on the Ladbrokes platform, with customers now able to access a wide range of RSG’s slot games via desktop, mobile and the Ladbrokes mobile app, for gaming on the go.
RSG is the company behind the popular 5050Sports range of casino games, featuring genuine footage of historic sporting moments, with players betting on the outcomes of different scenarios in a ‘yes or no’ format.
Each game is endorsed by and includes licensed commentary from a star of the sport. Ladbrokes customers can choose from innovative games including Michael Owen’s 5050Sports Football, Michael Vaughan’s 5050Sports Cricket and Ricky Hatton’s 5050Sports Boxing.
This new partnership also sees two thrill-seeking racing games – Real Horses and Real Dogs – launched on the Ladbrokes's bookmaker site. Similar to the 5050Sports series, players can bet on the outcome of races using previous live footage of real events. Over 20,000 hours of greyhound and horse racing are instantly accessible, from major tracks such as Ascot, Epsom, Walthamstow and Wembley.
The growing popularity of the 5050Sports and Real series mirrors the growing interest in virtual sports betting, a budding market geared toward betting on simulated sporting events - aesthetically similar to the EA video game FIFA.
Ladbrokes will be hoping that these sports-based games will draw punters who usually bet on sports to the company’s slots section. For even more variety, Real Sports Global is also adding six new scratch card titles to the bookmaker’s growing gaming offering, including Zombieville and The Wadfather, giving players the chance to win up to 10,000 times their stake.
Richard Poole, Head of Product and Commercial Management at Ladbrokes, commented:
"Real Sports Global are producing some of the most innovative content that I have seen for some time, and we are always looking to partner with companies that can bring something new and fresh to our players. Real Horses and Real Dogs are products that we think will gain instant appeal to our mobile players, whilst the new scratchcards are industry leading and will certainly carry a great deal of attraction across all of our platforms."
Stuart Carr, Real Sports Global CEO, also added:
"We are thrilled to be working with Ladbrokes and the signing of this deal comes at a significant time for RSG. Over the next few months, we will be building upon on our Real Sports product concept, developing a suite of games that we believe will redefine the virtual sector, whilst growing an ever-expanding list of operators in the UK, Europe and Asia."
2016 has already been a busy year at Ladbrokes HQ. In January, the company welcomed a new Chief Marketing Officer in the form of Kristof Fahy, and in February it was named the title sponsor for two major snooker tournaments. More recently, Ladbrokes signed legendary jockey Frankie Dettori as its new brand ambassador.
The new games from RSG are now live and already proving popular on the site. Players can even try their hand at the new suite of games for free without an account before playing for money.
