Daily Fantasy Sports in Louisiana

What sites will offer Daily Fantasy Sports in Louisiana? First up is DraftKings. DraftKings got a DFS license when that was allowed, which came along earlier than sports betting in Louisiana.

When sports betting goes live, it will offer options for football, basketball, baseball and hockey.

DraftKings went live in Louisiana with daily fantasy products on July 16, with the Louisiana Gaming Control Board sanctioning this deal and there are free credits available to new customers providing that they make the minimum deposit of $5. DraftKings is the only DFS operator in this state.

FanDuel Could Follow DraftKings by End of 2021

FanDuel Sportsbook appears to be the next in line to secure a Daily Fantasy Sports license in Louisiana. Apparently, it was complications because of the COVID-19 pandemic that delayed it from starting in the summer.

It’s clear that there is a demand to play Daily Fantasy Sports in Louisiana and DraftKings and FanDuel should be a big part of that.
