DraftKings Sportsbook and Sportradar have announced a long-term partnership extension. On Nov. 12, Sportradar announced in a press release that they have reached a long-term extension agreement with DraftKings to continue to provide the popular DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) and sportsbook brand data feeds and bet simulation content.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Sportradar is a global leader in the analyzation and delivery of sports data information, providing their services to sportsbooks, professional sports organizations and media companies from around the globe.

“We are proud to extend our partnership with DraftKings, one of the most respected gaming companies in the US,” said Neale Deeley, Sportradar Vice President of US Sales and Gaming, according to the press release. “DraftKings’ journey into sports betting has been a fantastic success, and we have been honored to be on that journey with them. We look forward to continuing that success for many years to come.”

DraftKings Continues to Expand Its Sportsbook

The Sportradar-DraftKings extension will provide DraftKings Sportsbook immediate statistical feeds, supplementing the bookmaker’s live and in-play betting features.

“DraftKings’ goal is to build the best, most trusted and most customer-centric destination for sports fans and our expanded partnership with Sportradar provides us with superior support,” said Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings chief business officer, the press release stated. “This partnership will enhance customer experience by allowing us to provide faster turnaround time on our products and give us the opportunity to develop new, innovative offerings for our players.”

Based out of Boston, DraftKings is a leader in daily fantasy sports worldwide. The DFS company has become a part of sports pop culture in the U.S., becoming a trusted brand among players. DraftKings recently signed partnerships with the NFL and the NBA as the organizations’ official daily fantasy partner.

When sports betting in New Jersey was legalized in 2018, the first state outside of Nevada to do so, DraftKings immediately extended their service and debuted their first sportsbook in the Garden State. Since then, DraftKings has launched in five other states — Indiana, Mississippi, New York and West Virginia — with more expected to come as legalized sports betting becomes more widespread.

Sportradar Partners with NFL and Other Professional Sports Leagues

In August, the NFL and Sportradar signed an exclusive multi-year partnership, allowing the data analysis company to collect and distribute official NFL game and player data to U.S. and international sportsbooks. Their agreement initially began in 2015 when the NFL chose Sportradar to be the exclusive distributor of official play-by-play statistics and Next Gen Stats to media outlets.

In addition to the NFL, Sportradar has partnered with other professional sports leagues, including the NBA, NHL and NASCAR, among others. Serving over 1,000 companies in over 80 countries, Sportradar screens and provides sports data insights from more than 400,000 matches yearly across 60 sports categories.

Because of Sportradar’s exclusive contracts with major professional sports leagues, the DraftKings-Sportradar extension will allow the sportsbook access to a large selection of official professional sports data feeds, including the NFL, MLB and the NBA.
