Ex-Colts Punter Pat McAfee Partnering with FanDuel Group
Former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee is jumping back into the sports betting world. The ex-NFL specialist announced a partnership with FanDuel Monday and will fill a variety of roles.
McAfee, 32, has agreed to make FanDuel his exclusive sports betting, DFS, casino and horse racing partner as part of a multi-year agreement. He unveiled the news in typical McAfee fashion, posting a self-depreciating video on social media tying into Monday’s Browns-Jets game.

FanDuel is offering boosted NFL betting odds, the Browns-Jets total (45.5), reducing it by four points (41.5, +100) in honor of Adam Vinatieri’s No. 4 jersey. The NFL’s all-time points leader sparked speculation he might retire after missing two extra points during the Colts’ 19-17 win over the Titans Sunday.
McAfee To Contribute to FanDuel in Multiple Ways
McAfee will appear on FanDuel Group’s “More Ways to Win” NFL pregame TV show each week alongside Lisa Kerney, Dani Klupenger, Dave Weaver and FanDuel Sportsbook Oddsmaker John Sheeran. The show airs from 10 a.m.-noon ET Friday, Saturday and Sunday on TVG Television Network.
In addition to his new on-air role, McAfee will contribute regularly on FanDuel podcasts, run social media accounts, weigh in on daily fantasy sports contests and create his own content. McAfee had amassed a huge social media following by the time his eight-year playing career came to an end in 2016.
A two-time Pro Bowl selection, McAfee made a seamless transition to media and has worked with outlets including ESPN, Fox Sports, WWE, Barstool Sports, the Indianapolis Star and others.
McAfee also previously had a previous affiliation with MyBookie and hosts the ”Pat McAfee Show” on DAZN.
McAfee also had a previous affiliation with illegal offshore bookmaker MyBookie. That came to an end in spectacular fashion when MyBookie took several shots at Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy on Twitter. Portnoy retaliated with a rant on MyBookie’s shady practices , after which McAfee announced he would immediately suspend all ads with the site.
