The new agreement, which runs through September 2024, expands IGT and FanDuel's partnership that includes the FanDuel Sportsbook at New Jersey’s Meadowlands Racetrack, the release said.

"IGT's PlaySports platform has been integral to FanDuel Sportsbook's expansion in the U.S., as we currently leverage it to power America's No. 1 sportsbook," Matt King, FanDuel Group CEO, said in the news release. "IGT is the strategic partner that we will lean on to help us expand our retail footprint across the U.S. IGT's PlaySports platform enables us to create an intuitive, technologically driven customer experience at our world-class retail sportsbooks for our customers, while its PlayCasino content enables FanDuel to deliver premium mobile casino entertainment in new and existing markets."

Strong Working Partnership

Since partnering in 2018, the two companies have reached several milestones, according to the news release, including having:

  • Launched FanDuel retail sportsbooks in eight states — New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Mississippi.
  • Launched online sportsbooks in five states — New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana and Colorado.
  • Deployed more than 200 IGT PlaySports self-service kiosks at FanDuel Sportsbooks.
  • Driven PlayCasino slot and table games in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets while driving growth across the emerging U.S. mobile market.
