Pennsylvania might not have set a record for its sports betting handle in September, but the amount it took in is still impressive.

Pennsylvania sports betting brought in $578,760,746, which was up 66.1% from the $348,520,369 in August and up 25.1% from September 2020 ($462,787,392).

It was the second-highest sports betting handle in the state's history.

Mobile sports betting was 91.1% of the market, bringing in a total of $527,438,189. That figure was up 65.8% from August, which was $318,131,156 and up 27.4% from the $414,100,359 it earned in September 2020.

Gross betting revenue was up in September. It was $28,253,790, up 56.9% from August ($18,007,244) and up 350.6% from $6,269,883 total is Sept. 2020.
