Another Sports Betting Platform on the Way

The PGCB on Wednesday approved BetMGM as a sports betting operator. BetMGM will soft launch its sports betting offering on Thursday and is working closely with the PGCB to go fully live shortly thereafter.

The announcement comes just 12 days after BetMGM’s online casino offering in Pennsylvania went live on Dec. 4, giving the state its 13th online casino.

BetMGM is partnering Hollywood Casino Morgantown in Caernavron Township, a “mini-casino” currently under-construction by Penn National Gaming.

The company announced in November that it will be an official sports betting operator of the Pittsburgh Steelers. BetMGM now has deals with six NFL teams: The Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans.
