PointsBet’s Growth

PointsBet Sportsbook is an emerging online sports betting outlet, originating in Australia.

In coming to the United States, PointsBet brought over its patented PointsBetting wager type, which is a unique method of wagering on sports on the market today.

This pact with Sportradar is multi-year and Sportradar will now supply PointsBet with data for MLB, NBA, NHL, college football, and basketball.

This agreement also includes pre-match and live betting services. These services include “pre-match odds suggestions, trading tools, and live data, as well as content solutions, such as live match trackers and live scores to engage audiences,” and also includes Sportradar’s Live Channel Online.

Live Channel Online is its live streaming “solution,” designed specifically to enhance the live betting experience.

Sportradar’s Reach

With PointsBet on board, this is the sixth multi-year deal Sportradar has in 2021, extending its reach and illustrating its prominence in real-time sports data.

Effective immediately, PointsBet will utilize Sportradar’s products to overhaul its live betting plays as players around the United States are trending more and more to wagering in that way.

“Like Sportradar, PointsBet continues to strengthen its position in the U.S. betting market,” Neale Deeley, Sportradar Managing Director for U.S. Betting, said in a media release. “With the popularity of in-play betting exploding in the U.S., having fast, reliable, accurate data is critical to driving greater engagement amongst bettors. We look forward to working together to help PointsBet deliver a cutting-edge product to its consumers.”

“The PointsBet team is unwavering in our commitment to providing the most comprehensive and fastest in-play betting experience. We are excited today to officially announce our partnership with Sportradar and look forward to enhancing those in-play betting capabilities alongside their team,” Johnny Aitken, PointsBet USA CEO, said in the release.
