A new era began when online sports betting went live in Connecticut a week ago today. After a soft-launch, customers were able to register online accounts with the three approved sportsbooks and begin to make wagers.

Bettors were able to make bets on the NBA as the season tipped off the same day. They also got a boost with the NFL season going and that helped get the first weekend off to a good start.
