If you have ever used DraftKings in your life, you’ll notice a similar aesthetic, on all of its platforms: desktop, mobile web browsers, iOS and Android.
Starting at the very top of the page, there are various link options such as the rewards system, bets you have placed, a help menu, the live bets, or even the online casino. As you continue to scroll down the page, there are various graphic advertisements. But there is also a bar going from left to right that has the majority of the sports offered listed there.
From here, after you’ve picked the sport you’re interested in and the type of bet you’d like to place, the betslip will appear on the right side of the screen. Here, you can place the bet or even build a parlay.
The mobile applications really aren’t at all different, which is excellent for the user experience. The only real, discernible differences is that sports are at the bottom of the screen and the betslip appears from the bottom as well.
Overall, none of the platforms experience any aggravating lag and everything buffers and loads at wonderful speeds.
No matter what sport you're into, you will find plenty of leagues and markets at DraftKings PA. Sign up to the sportbook to bet on some of the following sports:
Available markets include:
As mentioned in the pros and cons area, sometimes the odds—more specifically moneylines—can be a mixed bag. Compared to other main competitors, the lines can vary here and there, but overall this shouldn’t be a huge concern. But yes, for whatever reason the moneyline odds are sometimes a bit wonky.
Over at DraftKings PA, you can find features such as cash out, live betting and odds boost.
Cash out acts as a failsafe if you place a bet that is not going favorably. You can cash out of the bet and re-collect some semblance of the money you originally wagered.
Live betting is betting on events that are currently in progress. The odds and different lines will shift as the game unfolds, so a good tip is to wager on these games during commercial breaks.
When referring to odds boost, these are a certain collect of events where the odds are artificially boosted by the sportsbook with the hope that these particular items will get more action. This could also be beneficial to the user as it could be more money in your pocket.
Another interesting feature is the DraftKings Sportsbook Pools. A pool lets you wager against other bettors who have entered the same event. You compete for a Fixed Prize Pool or a Growing Prize Pool with or without guaranteed winners.
There are various types of pools including Pick'Em Pools where you have to predict things like the Game Winner, Spread, 3 Way, etc. You can also enter Brackets, Survivors or Squares. You can join Pools Contests offered by DraftKings or you can create your own Private Pools to compete with friends and family.
DraftKings PA has numerous promotional offerings. Here is a sample of what is offered. A complete list can be found in the rewards section of their website.
At the top of the screen, if you click on the “Help” button, there is a “Contact Us” button on that page. Here, all of the options are listed: email, regular mail, an email form and there is also a live chat. All of these options are available 24/7.
At the top of the page there is a green “RG” logo representing Responsible Gaming. On this page, DraftKings PA covers myriad topics, including in-house systems for limiting yourself. These include the following: Deposit limits, spending limits, time limits, and self-exclusion.
There is also a list of organizations that you can contact for assistance if you feel you have a gambling problem. In addition, there are also systems in place to protect underage people from participating.
Overall, there is almost nothing wrong with DraftKings PA. Sure, the odds can be a little bit out there sometimes, but overall this is what online sportsbooks are all about. It has absolutely everything you’d ever want. The Pennsylvania residents and those visiting the state will have a gem of an online sportsbook to use.
