A mouthwatering series of matches awaits as the Premier League returns following Queen Elizabeth II’s death and an international break.

This week’s action includes the first Manchester and north London derbies of the season, with huge games also set elsewhere across London and Merseyside.

Following is our betting advice for this weekend’s Premier League matches.

Game of the Week

Man United +650 at Man City -290

The Manchester derby has been arguably the biggest game in Europe for the past decade. This season’s matchup has a different feel, however, with a new boss for Manchester United, Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag has had a topsy-turvy tenure with United, but he guided the team to defeats of Liverpool 2-1 and Arsenal 3-1 — both of which have defeated United with relative ease in recent seasons.

Manchester City, meanwhile, has Europe’s top scorer this season, Erling Haaland. The striker has 11 goals in seven games but has never scored against United; he will be looking to change that.

Although United is looking better, we can’t see anything but a win for City.

Man City to win 2-0 is +700 with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Best Bet of the Week

Newcastle +135 at Fulham +200

Although Newcastle United is the favorite, we think the Cottagers are being unfairly overlooked here. Fulham is in sixth place, just one point behind Manchester United and three points ahead of Newcastle. It also has won three games, compared with Newcastle's one. Although the Magpies have only lost one game, they also have tied five of the seven games they have played, scoring a combined eight goals in those ties.

What’s more, Aleksandar Mitrovic has been on fire, and the Serbian will be eager to get goal number seven of the season against his former team and move ahead of Harry Kane on the goal-scoring list.

Fulham to beat Newcastle 2-1 is +900 with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Team of Last Week

Arsenal

Although Tottenham’s 6-2 win against Leicester deserves a mention, Arsenal takes top honors via its flawless display at Brentford. Arsenal remains atop the Premier League after its 3-0 win against the Bees. In that match, Gabriel Jesus scored once again, William Saliba got his second of the season, and Fabio Vieira scored his first-ever goal for Arsenal.

The Gunners dominated, taking 13 shots on goal and possessing the ball 64 percent of the time. However, it faces its biggest test of the season this weekend in the north London derby against Tottenham.

Gabriel Jesus to score first for Arsenal against Tottenham is +280 with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Player of Last Week

Son Heung-min, Tottenham

After failing to score in the first six games of the Premier League season, Son Heung-min came into the game late to net a stunning hat-trick against Leicester City.

The South Korea international took just 13 minutes to manage the feat; two of his scores were league Goal of the Week contenders. Son became the third player to score a hat-trick this season.

Son to score first against Arsenal is +500 with FanDuel Sportsbook

Hardest Game to Call

Tottenham +240 at Arsenal +105

Matches between Arsenal and rival Tottenham bring an array of goals, plenty of bookings and a thrilling start-to-finish ride.

The stakes are high for this matchup, with the winner possibly moving to the top of the standings, depending on the result of the Manchester derby.

To be honest, we can’t call this game. Arsenal has lost just once this season; Tottenham is unbeaten but also has tied two games, compared with Arsenal's zero. What's more, Tottenham's last trip to play a London rival this season saw it tie 2-2 with Chelsea, while it also managed to hammer Leicester City 6-2 in the last game.

We’re heading for another tie in this one.

A tie in this game is +280 with DraftKings Sportsbook.
