Everton And Newcastle Lead The Market
Everton fans fell out of love with their academy product when he left the club for Chelsea in 2018, but time is a healer.

Everton are favourites at Evens, but their troubling financial position makes it difficult to predict their transfer activity this summer.

Newcastle do not have any issue with a lack of money, yet they will be constrained by the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

West Ham Or Manchester United Could Make Move
David Moyes will take charge of his final West Ham United game this weekend, with Julen Lopetegui set to replace him in the London Stadium dugout.
Given his preference for a British core of players, Moyes may well have pushed to sign Barkley this summer.
Moyes' departure does not necessarily mean West Ham will not make a move, though.
Barkley’s ability to drive through the pitch and link the midfield and attack is arguably something the Hammers (3/1) have missed this season.
Manchester United are available at 7/2. They previously signed Christian Eriksen after a stint playing for a relegation-threatened team, so they would not be averse to making a move for Barkley in principle.
Given Barkley is 30 years old, United may look for someone younger in that role.
Aston Villa And Ipswich May Emerge As Options
Barkley made 24 appearances for Aston Villa during a loan spell in 2020/21, but he did not do enough to earn a permanent contract at Villa Park.
That does not rule out a return to the club, however, with Unai Emery’s side priced at 5/1 to sign the midfielder with new betting sites.
With Villa on course to qualify for the Champions League, they will need to add more strength in depth to their squad over the summer to cope with the additional fixtures.
Ipswich Town secured promotion to the Premier League earlier this month under the guidance of Kieran McKenna.
Town (4/1) were a League One side in 2022/23, and they will need to do some serious business in the transfer market to stand a chance of staying in the Premier League.
Leicester And Fulham Among The Outsiders
Leicester City will also be a top-flight team following promotion this year at the first attempt.
Their squad contains more Premier League experience than that of Ipswich, but Barkley may nonetheless be an attractive target for the Foxes.
A charge of breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules during their last three seasons in the top flight continues to hang over their head and could affect their summer recruitment.

Odds Suggest Tottenham And Leeds Unlikely

Odds of 10/1 suggest Barkley will not be too high up his wish list, though.
Leeds United are also outsiders at 12/1. Their chances of signing Barkley depend on Daniel Farke’s side winning promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
