Games Global Finalizes Deal with UFC To Produce Branded Digital Slots
UFC, the mixed martial arts organization, is a sports behemoth, a billion-dollar industry that’s come a long way from backwoods live fights on satellite television and the “human cock-fighting” label attached to it by late U.S. senator John McCain 20 years ago.
As it continues to grow across the globe, adding new live events at new venues, UFC will be looking at new revenue streams beyond live gates and selling media rights.
Games Featuring Themes and Symbols Of UFC To Be Rolled Out Worldwide
So igaming is a logical avenue to expand into.
With that in mind comes the announcement that Games Global has signed an exclusive deal with UFC - a deal brokered by IMG, the UFC’s licensing agency - to produce unique, UFC-themed slot titles over a three-year period.
The first release will be a soft launch this month, followed by a global rollout in July. The slot games are digital versions of classic casino slot machine games. They’ll feature UFC themes and symbols and will include UFC fighter likeness and images.
Slots Will Have UFC Fighter Likeness
Users will be able to go on their local betting platform in regions in the US online casino where there is regulated igaming – including Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
