The NHL has six games this Monday night and two involving Canadian teams. Yes, the American Thanksgiving week schedule is done. With slates beginning to stabilize, the busy nights are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Monday is here! Let’s go!

Toronto Maple Leafs at Detroit Red Wings

It is nice to sit back and enjoy games like this. Toronto is more of a counterpunching team, but Detroit produces a little all over the place. The Maple Leafs, once upon a time, were 4-4-2 with their coach on the hot seat. Now, they are 9-1-3 in their last 13 games. The offense has picked up just enough to help the defense out.

As for Detroit, this is a hot team too. The Red Wings won four straight games and did not need their goaltender to kick the moorings off a few times.

The goaltenders figure to be Ville Husso for Detroit and Matt Murray for Toronto. This will be a rare Monday night treat. Which goaltender keeps on rolling?

How will this game play out? That is a big question mark for Canadian Sports Bettors. Expect some fireworks from both teams.

Detroit wants to see where they measure in the Atlantic Division. Boston is the class right now, but the Red Wings are one of those up-and-coming teams. Both teams tend to play in overtime a good deal, so a three-way bet is riskier than usual.

This is their first meeting in 2022. Some props could be in order with Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews, to name a few.

Florida Panthers at Edmonton Oilers

The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers take to the ice tonight after 9:30 pm ET. This should be a chaotic affair, with both teams capable of scoring goals. We saw that with Edmonton at Madison Square Garden on Saturday afternoon. Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid turned a 3-0 deficit into a 4-3 win.

It is early, but is Florida not the team we thought they were? The question has to be asked. Florida’s special teams are slightly below average, and their shooting percentage is still 1.5% below the league average. With Aleksander Barkov out for tonight’s game and tomorrow’s in Calgary, Florida becomes a rougher bet. It will be interesting to see who starts for the Panthers tonight. Spencer Knight has been the better goaltender, but Sergei Bobrovsky may get the nod in Edmonton. Keep an eye on this development.

Florida and Edmonton were expected to be higher in the standings but are meandering around .500. The Panthers have Montreal and Detroit surrounding them, with Boston 13 points up in the division already. It is getting late fast for both the Oilers and Panthers.

Edmonton’s team Over is another target, along with the Total too. See if this contest stays at 7.0. In the meantime, the game is a dead-even coin flip for Ontario Sports Bettors.

Some Picks To Consider

  • Oilers’ 3-way bet at 2.40
  • Mitch Marner Under 0.5 Points ONLY if the number is available.
  • Leafs-Wings Over 6.0 goals at 1.87
  • Oilers to win by two at 8.25
  • Oilers first to reach three goals at 2.15

Good luck, and once again, thanks for reading! We will have a few more plays on social media as conditions warrant.
