Gambling.com Rating: 8.2/10
Our Verdict: Bet99 is Ontario's best site for live football betting thanks to its NFL live streams and in-play markets.
Bet99 is my favourite sportsbook for live football betting, thanks to its NFL live streams and impressive in-play markets.
As an official partner of the NHL it's also a top pick for hockey betting.
The hockey section offers several micro-markets and "flash bets" you rarely see elsewhere, plus local touches like junior hockey leagues.
There are a few downsides to consider:
Bet99 has fewer niche betting options than other Ontario sportsbooks like bet365 and the Android version of the app isn't as stable as it is on iOS.
But, if you stick to Canadian favourites like hockey and football - Bet99 is one of the very best in the business.

Bet99's status as an official NHL betting partner, underlines the quality of its hockey section.
You'll find all the markets you'd expect from one of Ontario's best hockey betting sites, with odds that match and often beat top rivals.
International leagues and Canadian junior hockey (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) add further depth.
You won't find hockey streams here, but the in-play markets are extensive.
I like the flash bets, which settle quickly in-play, add another layer of excitement to fast-paced games.
Football is where Bet99 really stands out.
It is one of very few sportsbooks I've used that streams every NFL game live in-app.
I can watch a Sunday game and build a 5-leg same-game parlay without ever leaving the stream.
The interface froze only once during my tests and it was only a very brief pause on an android phone.
Meanwhile, odds on spreads and moneylines often match and sometimes beat Caesars, (one of my favourite NFL betting sites).
Canadian football is equally well served: Grey Cup futures and player props are fully covered here.
Bet99's baseball betting section is decent, but not as strong as its hockey or football offerings.
I like the selection of pre-built same-game parlays at the top of the page, which can offer extra value.
And when I bet on a Blue Jay's v Blue Ray's game and found 63 markets to choose from, which shows good depth.
The only site that had more options for the same game was Proline+, which also offers MLB live streams.
You won't find baseball streams at Bet99, but there are lots of in-play micro-markets, like next-at-bat, which other mlb betting sites lack.
Bet99 lists around 80 markets for NBA games, with lots of player props including points, assists and three-pointers.
There are no streams at this NBA betting site, but the live stats visualiser is great, while rapid odds updates keep you informed and engaged.
Same-game parlays are easy to build and were available on every game I bet on.
It's a pretty basic section, but Bet99 has enough to keep the vast majority of basketball bettors happy.
Bet99 offers broad soccer coverage, from EPL and Champions League to MLS and many lower leagues.
I bet on a Toronto FC match and an EPL fixture - each had over 100 market options.
In-play betting provided a quick live match tracker and near-instant odds refresh.
Only limited live streaming lets it down when compared to top rival soccer betting sites.
Bet99’s has markets for 30 sports in total - fewer than heavy hitters like bet365 (which offers almost 50 sports), but more than Proline+ which only covers 16.
Coverage is deep for Canadian staples like hockey and football, with soccer fixtures frequently topping 115 markets.
Special-event props – such as Super Bowl MVP or unique NHL outcomes – appear well ahead of big games.
And my tests showed that odds are competitive with other Ontario sportsbooks - particularly for NHL and NFL.
Most spreads and totals carry the industry-standard 20-cent line (–110).
The main limitation with Bet99 is the smaller catalogue of niche markets compared to the very largest global sports books, but everyday bettors will find plenty of variety.
Same-game parlays (SGPs) are easy to build across NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and many soccer matches.
Bet99 also lets you build same game parlays for CFL games - which isn't something I can do at every sportsbook.
And the SGP+ option lets you link an SGP with other single bets for creative multi-game wagers.
Some ultra-specific props remain off-limits for correlation reasons, but Bet99’s breadth and ease of use make its SGP tool a match for DraftKings or bet365.
The extra benefit of hockey and CFL SGPs that some competitors lack, is the icing on the cake.

Live betting is where Bet99 really stands out.
I can stream full NFL games right on their homepage, which most major sportsbooks don't offer.
And I like Bet99's flashbets, which let you bet on things like next NHL face-off winner or next MLB at-bat result - these settle within seconds of happening.
The mobile view gets cluttered with many markets running, but it's workable.
Between the NFL streaming and FlashBets, Bet99's live betting service is up there with the best in the business.
Bet99 offers a dark, uncluttered interface that keeps the focus on betting.
Menus load quickly and a top leagues bar lets you jump straight to major competitions.
The mobile version mirrors the desktop well, but the lack of a search field or universal back button means extra taps at times.
Even so, navigation and bet placement are straightforward and odds refresh without lag.
Overall, the design is practical and easy on the eyes.

Bet99 has Canada betting apps for both iOS and Android devices.
The iOS app holds an impressive 4.3 / 5 rating from 900 reviews on the app store and fully deserves its recognition.
I really like the fully integrated NFL streaming, which works really well in-app.
The main drawbacks are the missing search field and one-step back button, which can occasionally add taps.
Also, the Android app is not as stable as the iOS version and users report crashes and glitches.
But overall, Bet99's apps are functional and very reliable aside from the occasional Android hiccup.

Customer service is effective and available 24/7 in English and French via live chat and email.
I connected to chat in under a minute and had queries on withdrawals and responsible gambling limits answered clearly.
Email replies typically within eight hours.
Channel | Availability | My Experience |
---|---|---|
Live chat | 24/7 | Fast and thorough |
24/7 | Clear, same-day replies |
Even without phone support, Bet99’s responsive chat and email meet the needs of most bettors.
Bet99 highlights safer play and provides a full suite of tools:
These features are easy to set within your account and help maintain control over gambling activity.
Bet99 is the best option in Ontario for football bettors who like to watch and bet on the NFL.
Having used it extensively to bet on NHL games, I'd also recommend Bet99 to hockey bettors, who like lots of in-play markets.
The in-play flashbets are particularly fun and are available for most sports.
While, there are definitely better options out there for baseball and basketball the difference isn't huge.
Its mainly the lack of streaming for these sports that lets Bet99 down.
Overall, Bet99 is a really good all rounder and a genuinely excellent option if you like to bet on hockey or football.
