Our Verdict: Bet99 is one of Ontario's best online sportsbooks for football betting, thanks to the comprehensive live NFL streaming feature.

Bet99 is one of my favourite sites for live football betting, thanks to its NFL live streams and impressive markets.

As an official partner of the NHL, it's also a top pick for hockey betting.

The hockey section offers several micro-markets and live 'Flash Bets' on quick outcomes during games, plus local touches like markets for Canadian hockey leagues.

There are a few downsides to consider:

Bet99 has fewer niche betting options than some Ontario sportsbooks like bet365. Also, the Android version of the app isn't as stable as the iOS app.

But, if you like to stick to Canadian betting favourites like hockey and football - Bet99 is one of the very best in the business.

Bet99 Hockey Betting

Bet99's status as an official NHL betting partner underlines the quality of its hockey betting section.

You'll find all the markets you'd expect from one of Ontario's best hockey betting sites, with odds that match and often beat top rivals.

International leagues and Canadian hockey leagues (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) add further depth.

You won't find hockey streams here, but the live markets are extensive.

I like the flash bets, which settle quickly and add another layer of excitement to fast-paced games.

Bet99 Football Betting 

Football is where Bet99 really stands out.

It is one of very few sportsbooks I've used that streams every NFL game live in-app.

I can watch a Sunday game and build a same-game parlay without ever leaving the stream.

The interface froze only once during my tests and it was only a very brief pause on an Android phone.

Meanwhile, odds on spreads and moneylines often match and sometimes beat Caesars (one of my favourite NFL betting sites).

Canadian football is equally well-served: Grey Cup futures and player props are fully covered here, along with dozens of markets for each CFL game.

Bet99 Baseball Betting

Bet99's baseball betting section is fine, but not quite as strong as its hockey or football offerings.

I like the selection of pre-built same-game parlays at the top of the page, which can be useful for inspiration with your bets.

And when I bet on a Blue Jays v Yankees game I found 63 bets to choose from, which shows good depth.

The only site that had more options for the same game was Proline+, which also offers MLB live streams.

You won't find baseball streams at Bet99, but there are lots of live micro-markets, like next-at-bat, which some MLB betting sites lack.

Bet99 Basketball Betting

Bet99 lists around 80 markets for NBA games, with lots of player props including points, assists, rebounds, steals, and three-pointers.

There are no streams at this NBA betting site, but the live stats visualiser is great, while rapid odds updates make live betting seamless.

Same-game parlays are easy to build and were available for every NBA game I bet on.

It's a pretty basic section, but Bet99 has enough to keep the vast majority of basketball bettors happy.

Bet99 Soccer Betting

Bet99 offers broad soccer betting options, from EPL and Champions League to MLS and many lower leagues.

I bet on a Toronto FC match and an EPL fixture - each had over 200 betting markets to choose from.

The live centre has a quick live match tracker and near-instant odds refreshes.

Limited live streaming lets it down slightly when compared to the best soccer betting sites. 

Bet99 Odds & Range of Markets

Bet99 has markets for 30 sports in total - fewer than industry heavyweights like bet365 (which lists almost 50 sports), but more than Proline, which covers 16.

Coverage is deepest for Canadian staples like hockey, football, baseball, and basketball.

And my tests showed that odds are competitive with other Ontario sportsbooks - particularly for NHL and NFL.

Most spreads and totals carry the industry-standard 20-cent line (–110).

The main limitation with Bet99 is the smaller catalogue of niche markets compared to the very largest global sportsbooks, but everyday bettors will find plenty of variety.

Bet99 Same-Game Parlay

Same-game parlays (SGPs) are easy to build across NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and soccer games.

Bet99 also allows you to build same-game parlays for CFL games - which isn't something I've found at most sportsbooks.

And the SGP+ option lets you link one SGP with other SGP bets for creative multi-game wagers.

Some ultra-specific props remain off-limits for correlation reasons, but the flexibility and ease-of-use makes this a top-quality SGP.

The extra benefit of CFL SGPs is the icing on the cake.

Live Betting at Bet99

Live betting is another one of the areas where Bet99 really stands out.

As mentioned, I can stream full NFL games on desktop or mobile.

Plus there's the 'Flash Bets' which let you bet on things like next NHL face-off winner or next MLB at-bat result - these settle within seconds of happening.

The mobile view gets cluttered with many bets running at once, but it's workable.

Overall, Bet99's live betting service is up there with the best around.

User Experience & Site Design

Bet99 is well-designed and very easy to use. 

I had no problem finding the markets I wanted to bet on, which can often be an issue with feature-rich sites like this. 

Menus load quickly and a top leagues bar lets you jump straight to popular markets in major competitions.

Bright banners highlighting key features like NFL live streams pop against the dark background. 

The mobile site works well, but I'd still recommend downloading the app for the best user experience on mobile.

Bet99 Betting App

Bet99 has Canadian betting apps for both iOS and Android devices.

The iOS app holds an impressive 4.3/5 rating from 900 reviews on the App Store, which tallies with my personal experience testing it.

The Android app is not quite as reliable as the iOS version and some users report occasional glitches.

But overall, both Bet99 apps are functional and reliable aside from the occasional Android hiccup.

Bet99 is a site without too much to critique. If you plan to bet live on the NFL from Ontario, the streaming feature is a huge plus.

Then if you're dipping into other sports, you'll have plenty of bets to choose from with competitive lines.

I give the site 8.4/10 - if just a couple of minor issues are addressed, Bet99 can reach 9/10 territory in the near future.
