Hull City Next Permanent Manager: Tim Walter Remains The Favourite
It's been over a fortnight since Hull City sacked manager Liam Rosenior for failing to guide the Tigers into the Championship play-offs, and we await news of his replacement.
City finished seventh, three points behind sixth-placed Norwich and Rosenior was relieved of his duties just a couple of days later.

Walter Makes The Tigers Wait
As soon as Rosenior was sacked, Tim Walter was made favourite for the position at the MKM Stadium.
Walter has caught the eye of City's Turkish owner Acun Ilicali for what he has done at Hamburg in recent seasons.
Rosenior paid the price for not playing a style of football wanted by the Tigers owner, who has openly admitted that he would prefer to watch his side lose 3-2 than draw 0-0.
Walter's style of football is liked by Ilicali and he has made it clear that the German is his number one choice. Walter is the 1/3 favourite on betting apps.
Could Hull Be Heckingbottom's New Home?
If Hull City miss out on their first choice candidate Walter, then Paul Heckingbottom could receive a call about the vacancy.
Heckingbottom has been out of a job since his sacking by Sheffield United in December, following a poor start to the season.
Prior to his departure, Heckingbottom had guided the Blades back to the Premier League with a very small budget.
The ability to win promotion to the Premier League is one of the reasons why Heckingbottom (3/1) is a manager in demand this summer.
Interest In Will Still Cools
Will Still is next on the list at 12/1 on new betting sites. The Belgium-born Englishman recently left his role at French side Reims, who missed out on a top-half finish in Ligue 1.
Still has made no secret of his desire to test himself in England, but Sunderland are also reported to be keen, while further interest could emerge in the coming weeks.
During his time at Reims, Still had a win percentage of 38.5% in his 65 games in charge at the Stade Auguste-Delaune.

When Sheffield Wednesday appointed Danny Rohl in October, the club were bottom of the Championship, seven points from safety.

The final table saw Wednesday finish 20th, three points above the relegation zone to ensure the Sheffield derby is back on the fixture list next season.

Could Bulut Answer the Turkish Call?
It's plausible that a club with a Turkish owner looks to a Turkish manager to take the club forward.
Cardiff City manager Erol Bulut has emerged as a possible candidate to replace Rosenior, if the club miss out on their preferred choices.
Ilicali is a Fenerbahce supporter and will have therefore noticed the style of play Bulut adopted during his time at the Turkish club during the 2020/21 season.
Bulut, who is 16/1 with football betting sites was relieved of his duties with Fenerbahce five points behind the leaders Besiktas with just over 10 games to play.
Cooper Could Be Ready For A Return
If Hull City want a manager who knows the Championship inside out, then they could do with giving Steve Cooper a call.
Cooper's last job in the Championship was with Nottingham Forest, a club he took from the bottom of the second tier to promotion in the same season.
The Welshman has been out of a job since he was sacked by Forest just before Christmas, and maybe the time is right for a return to management.

Could Cagdas Atan Be The Tigers' Man?
Cagdas Atan might not be a well known name in English football, but he will be familiar with Hull City's Turkish owner.
The 44-year-old is currently employed by Istanbul Basaksehir, who will finish fourth in the Turkish top flight with a win in their final game of the season at Adana Demirspor.
An opportunity to manage in the Championship might be too good for Atan (33/1) to refuse and if the chance came his way, he may well take it.
Other managers at 33/1 include Nathan Jones, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who have all managed in the Championship before.
