BetMGM Adds SURVIVOR Fire & Gold Slot In Alberta

BetMGM has launched SURVIVOR Fire & Gold, a new online slot based on the reality television franchise, in Alberta - the operator announced the release on November 5, 2026. The game is exclusive to BetMGM Casino in the province and takes its SURVIVOR collection to six slots.
The title comes from BetMGM's partnership with Jogo Global and Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of Banijay Entertainment, which owns the SURVIVOR format.
BetMGM's Director of Gaming, Rob Passerino, said the franchise's competitive spirit translates naturally to iGaming, and that the game gives Alberta players a new way to engage with the brand.
How The Game Plays
The slot is built around the show's Outwit, Outplay and Outlast themes. A progression-based Trail Unlock system brings in new features as players collect symbols. Familiar parts of the show appear throughout, including Last One Standing, Reward Challenge, Tribal Council and Exile Island.
Three coloured torches representing Outwit, Outplay and Outlast each activate their own gameplay enhancement. Other features include Jungle Reveal, Sling Shot, Fire Maker and Power Play, which add variety as a session goes on.
As with any slot game, results are random, and a famous brand does not change the odds of winning.
The Full SURVIVOR Line-Up
SURVIVOR Fire & Gold joins five SURVIVOR slots already at BetMGM Casino in Alberta: SURVIVOR - Outwit - Outplay - Outlast, SURVIVOR Lucky Tap, SURVIVOR Triple Challenge, SURVIVOR 50 and SURVIVOR Last Step.
David Marcus, CEO of Jogo Global, called Alberta an important regulated market and said the company was proud to help bring the brand to new audiences. Mark Woolard, SVP Gaming and Gambling at Banijay Rights, said BetMGM and Jogo had been strong partners across the franchise.
Banijay says SURVIVOR has 50 adaptations and more than 400 seasons broadcast worldwide, which explains why it keeps turning up in casino lobbies.
BetMGM In Alberta
The launch is the latest step for BetMGM since Alberta opened its regulated iGaming market on July 13, 2026. Read our BetMGM Alberta casino review for the full picture, or see our guide to Alberta online gambling laws before you play.
BetMGM marked 100 days in Alberta on October 30, 2026 and said the market had been one of its strongest launches, with early momentum outpacing its launch in Ontario. In its own update the operator pointed to branded entertainment as a draw.
Eilers-Fantini's September 2026 Canada Online Game Performance Report, covering data through August, ranked Aristocrat's Lightning Link High Stakes first and Blueprint's Game of Thrones second among games tracked across participating Alberta operators. Game of Thrones arrived exclusively at BetMGM in Alberta in August.
That context helps explain the push into exclusive franchise content, which BetMGM says it wants to keep building as it competes for Alberta players against the roughly 15 operators that opened on day one. The release carries the usual reminders: players must be 18 or older, and the offer applies in Alberta only. Anyone concerned about their gambling can call or text 211 or visit ab.211.ca for help.
