Spreadex Sports covers football, horse racing, tennis and 20+ sports, with fixed odds and spread betting available from one account.

This bookmaker also offers a Football Acca Boost of up to 100% and a Bet Builder across seven sports.

Here's what stood out during my testing.

Spreadex Sports Pros & Cons

Pros

  • ✔️ Spread Betting Markets
  • ✔️ Cash Out Options
  • ✔️ Football Acca Boosts
  • ✔️ Racing Insurance Offer
  • ✔️ Multi-Sport Bet Builder

Cons

  • ❌ No GAA Markets
  • ❌ No Best Odds Guaranteed
  • ❌ No E-Wallets

Who Are They?

Spreadex Sports is operated by Spreadex Limited, a company founded in 1999 and based in St Albans, England.

It holds Irish business-to-consumer remote betting licence under Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland - licence no. A-1154-C09260130-001.

Is the Spreadex Sports Betting Bonus Worth It?

In my view, a €10 stake unlocking up to €60 in free bets is one of the stronger stake-to-reward ratios I've seen on the Irish market.

The free bets span football and horse racing, so most bettors will find somewhere to use them.

Key Benefits:

✔️ Up To €60 In Free Bets - A €10 qualifying bet unlocks free bets worth up to six times the stake

✔️ Fixed Odds and Spread Bets - The free bets cover both betting styles

✔️ No Wagering Requirements - The terms list no turnover to clear on the free bets

Who is This Bonus Best For?

✔️ Bettors who want a larger free bet return from a €10 qualifying bet

✔️ Football and racing fans who want to try spread betting without risking their own money

✔️ Anyone who prefers simple fixed odds free bets alongside the spread options

Regular Rewards

Being a little different to other betting sites in Ireland, Spreadex Sports runs regular boosts and insurance offers across football, horse racing and greyhounds - these include:

  • Football Acca Boost - Football accumulators of three or more selections earn a cash boost of up to 100%
  • '2nd to a Rag' Insurance - Your first win single on a race is refunded as a free bet up to €25 if it finishes second to a 33/1 or bigger winner
  • Lucky Double Odds - Lucky 15, 31 and 63 bets on racing and greyhounds pay double the odds if only one selection wins
  • Price Boosts - Regular enhanced odds on selected events
  • Spread Betting Markets - Buy or sell on markets such as Total Goals, Player Goal Minutes, Jockey Index and Race Index
  • In-Play Fixed Odds and Spreads - Switch between fixed odds and spread markets mid-game on the same event

Presently, Spreadex Sports has no VIP program.

Spreadex Sports Payment & Withdrawal Options

I found Spreadex Sports keeps its banking list short, with a focus on cards, mobile wallets and bank transfers.

Accepted methods include Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer, including Easy Bank Transfer.

Credit cards and e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill and Neteller are not accepted and all payments must come from an account in your name.

The minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal are both €5.

Card and wallet withdrawals typically arrived within two hours of approval, although some issuers take two to five days.

Bank transfers took up to two working days.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Process

I discovered Spreadex Sports verifies your identity and age before opening your account.

You need either a photo ID showing your name, address and date of birth, such as a driving licence, or a passport plus two documents confirming your address, such as a utility bill and an insurance document.

Extra checks, including bank statements or pay slips, may follow. However, that didn't happen to me and my account was verified within 48 hours.

Spreadex Sports Site Features

What stands out to me is how Spreadex Sports backs its fixed odds and spread betting with a useful set of racing and in-play tools.

Spread Betting Platform

The Spreadex spread betting platform allows traders to speculate on price movements across markets including forex, shares, indices and commodities.

Users can take long or short positions without owning the underlying assets, with competitive spreads, live pricing and advanced charting tools supporting their decisions.

Spread betting uses leverage, allowing traders to open larger positions with smaller deposits, although this increases the risk of significant losses.

Bet Builders

The Bet Builder lets you combine up to eight selections from one game across seven sports.

The app describes it as working across fixed odds or spreads.

2-Up Early Payout

Pre-match bets on the 2-Up Match Odds market win once your team goes two goals clear, even if they go on to draw or lose.

It works on both singles and multiples.

First Past the Post

Race winner bets on UK and Irish racing pay out on both the original and the promoted winner after a demotion for interference.

I liked that it covers Irish meetings as well.

Three Cash Out Choices

Spreadex Sports offers one-click, auto and partial Cash Out, giving more control than a standard single option.

Live Streaming Options

Live streaming covers UK and Irish horse racing, greyhounds, tennis, NFL and selected football matches, however a funded account is needed to access streams.

Spreadex Sports Mobile App

The Spreadex Sports mobile app is available on both iOS and Android devices.

  • App Store: 4.2★ (40+ reviews)
  • Google Play Store: 4.2★ (500+ reviews)

Player reviews praise the range of fixed odds and spread bets and the clear explanations of how each bet works.

Recurring complaints include having to log in and confirm location each time the app opens, and football markets being suspended before kick-off.

Customer Support

Live chat is available from the Spreadex Sports homepage, and when I tested it, I was connected directly to a human agent within 30 seconds.

Email is available for less urgent queries, and a phone line runs daily from 7.30am to 10pm, with an 8.30am start on Sundays.

The phone line uses UK numbers, as no Irish number is listed.

Responsible Gambling

Spreadex Sports lets you set monetary spending limits on individual activities and an overall limit, over any period you choose.

Session notifications are available, along with time-outs from one day to six weeks and self-exclusion from six months.

You can also permanently block individual products. These tools are found under My Account and then Safer Gambling.

Spreadex Sports may also restrict accounts where it has concerns about gambling activity.

Things to Note

A few points worth weighing up before signing up to Spreadex Sports.

No GAA Markets

Gaelic football and hurling are not currently listed among the available sports.

No Best Odds Guaranteed

Horse racing bets are not covered by a best odds guaranteed offer.

No E-Wallets

PayPal, Skrill and Neteller are not accepted for deposits or withdrawals.

Is Spreadex Sports the Right Betting Site for Me?

In my view, Spreadex Sports stands out for offering spread betting and fixed odds in one account, backed by 20+ sports and a Bet Builder available across seven of them.

The welcome offer returns up to €60 in free bets from a €10 qualifying bet.

What I like about the ongoing offers is the racing and football focus, with First Past the Post covering UK and Irish meetings alongside the Football Acca Boost of up to 100% and 2-Up Early Payout.

There are a few drawbacks worth flagging, including no Gaelic games markets, no Best Odds Guaranteed on horse racing and no e-wallet payment options.

Overall, Spreadex Sports remains a strong betting site for bettors who want something different.

Sign-up was smooth and I found the site easy to navigate. It looks a bit dated, but everything works fine, tbh – no big issues so far.

The app is deadly. Live betting works well and I can stream matches no bother. No crashes so far which is great to see.

I've been using Spreadex for around a year now, as one of a few bookies I bet with. I originally signed up for the free bets offer, and I ended up sticking around after getting into spread betting. They might not have as many flashy markets as some bigger names, but they cover all the sports I need (except GAA) and their odds are usually competitive enough. I've cashed out a few times, and withdrawals always came through to my bank without hassle (though I'd love to see PayPal support added).

Odds are generally really good and I never have any issues with withdrawals here, which is a big deal for me. Only thing I don't like is that they don't support PayPal for withdrawals at all.

Primarily use Spreadex for horse racing – great coverage of Irish meets. I can even watch the races live on their site after I place a bet, which I love. No issues withdrawing my winnings either (got them in 48 hours).

Free spread bets in the welcome offer is a nice touch - fun once you wrap your head around the spread.
