Love Island's Davide Sanclimenti has seen his odds to win Top Male nearly half in just a few days after he shared a kiss with newcomer Danica Taylor.

Betting sites have reacted quicker to the smooch than even the 21-year-old dancer, who admitted on Thursday night's episode of the ITV2 dating show that the Italian's passionate embrace took her by surprise – but in a good way.

Italian Stallion Back In Top Male Hunt

Following his smooch, businessman Davide, 27, has shortened up to 11/2 with William Hill to take the Top Male crown, from a huge 10/1 with the bookmaker just a few days ago.

But anyone who has backed the Islander shouldn't be counting their winnings just yet as Ladbrokes haven't been quite as convinced by his advances and still rate Davide as a 9/1 shot to be the top lad.

Jacques O'Neill remains the 7/4 favourite with most betting apps, which comes after Jay Younger – an 18/1 outsider with Ladbrokes – revealed on Thursday night that he wants to get to know Paige Thorne, who Jacques is coupled up with.

Rugby player Jacques, 23, was all for Jay, 28, giving it a try. He told the investment analyst: "Yeah sweet, crack on."

Paige Clear Top Female Fave

However, this didn't go down well with paramedic Paige. The 24-year-old Islander was left in tears at Jacques' laid-back approach, but she might not feel so down if only she could see the latest Love Island betting odds.

She remains 5/4 with most bookmakers to be the last lady standing in this year's villa, with 19-year-old Gemma Owen, a 10/3 shot with Ladbrokes, her nearest rival.

Bizarrely, while Davide's odds for Top Male were cut by most bookies following his smooch with Danica, the dancer's have gone the other way with Ladbrokes. The bookie now rates her as a 25/1 chance for Top Female, from 20s just days ago. However, she is 16/1 with William Hill.

Tasha And Andrew's Top Couple Chances Fade

But Davide and Danica's potential romance doesn't appear to have made much of a dent in the Top Couple betting. Ladbrokes go 25/1 that the pair will take home the show's £50,000 prize at the end of the series.

They have a lot of work to do to catch hot favourites Paige and Jacques. Despite her tears on Thursday, they are into 11/10 to be Top Couple come the end of the show, from 12/5 a few days ago.

Danica is officially coupled up with Luca Bish, 23, and it is 7/2 with Ladbrokes for the fishmonger and Gemma to finish in first place.

But model Tasha Ghouri, 23, and 27-year-old Andrew Le Page's chances of victory together are sinking, after she seemed to be interested in getting to know new bombshell, real estate developer Charlie Radnedge, 28, on Thursday night.

Tasha and real estate agent Andrew are out to 20/1 shots for Top Couple with most specials betting sites, from 12/1 just a few days ago. Don't put your house on it!
