Throughout the season, Manchester United and Celtic legend Brian McClair will be giving his predictions for every Premier League game.

In four seasons at Celtic, McClair made 471 appearances in all competitions and scored 127 goals, securing the Scottish Premier League and Scottish FA Cup while finishing as top-scorer for the Hoops on four occasions.

His prolific goalscoring record quickly attracted the attention of clubs south of the border and in 1987, McClair became Alex Ferguson's first signing at Manchester United, going on to win four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup in his 11 years at Old Trafford.

Brian joins The Panel for the 2024/25 Premier League season and will pass expert judgement with his score predictions on all games whilst The Panel team will examine the best football betting sites to find the best odds should his predictions hit the back of the net.

Crystal Palace Vs Everton, Saturday 5.30pm

Crystal Palace and Everton meet on Saturday evening in what should be an interesting encounter.

Everton are unbeaten in each of their last eight meetings with Palace, keeping four clean sheets during that time. 

The Toffees have also won their last three Premier League matches under new manager David Moyes, keeping clean sheets in the last two.

Palace have lost just one of their last nine across all competitions, even bouncing back from a 2-1 defeat to Brentford by beating Manchester United at Old Trafford last time out.

Brian says: “Three league wins on the bounce under David Moyes has given Everton some breathing space from the relegation scrap.

"Palace tried to find a defender to support the back three in the January window and I think Ben Chilwell will be a great signing for them.

"Oliver Glasner's side once again enjoyed victory at Old Trafford in their last league game and I can see them following that with a win here."

Tottenham Vs Man Utd, Sunday, 4.30pm

On paper, this should be a classic encounter between two of the biggest sides in the Premier League, but both clubs are struggling right now.

Spurs may have recorded a win in their last league game at Brentford, but they are reeling from seven defeats in their last 10 league matches.

Similarly, Ruben Amorim's side have also found wins hard to come by and suffered recent home defeats to Brighton and Crystal Palace, though their last league victory did come in the capital with a last-gasp goal at Fulham.

The home side are slight favourites with betting apps and victory would ease some of the pressure being heaped on beleaguered boss Ange Postecoglou. 

Brian says: "This fixture can only really be billed as two teams that are struggling in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

"No Manchester United manager has reached five home losses in fewer home games in their Premier League history than Ruben Amorim.

"It's 14 points from 13 games for United and my thinking is that they need 11 more to retain their Premier League status and one of those will come from a draw at Spurs on Sunday."
