Emperia Casino Review Iceland: Bonuses, Games & Payments

At first glance, Emperia looks like a casino that will win you over with a massive game selection and generous bonuses, but there’s more to it than that. Players in Iceland also get daily reload offers, weekly cashback and a Daily Bonus Map. However, there are some terms and conditions you should be aware of, so read on before you sign up.

For me, it’s the sheer volume of content and the frequent promotions that make Emperia the most interesting. Withdrawals that take up to three banking days and strict bonus terms are the main drawbacks.

Emperia entered the scene in 2026 with an ambitious game selection and a packed bonus menu as its clearest selling points. The casino is operated by Fortuna Games N.V. and holds a licence from Curaçao, which makes it one of the new online casinos open to players in Iceland.

Keep in mind that Emperia is not licensed by Icelandic authorities. There’s no Icelandic-language version of the site, so players from Iceland use the English version, and accounts run in euros since ISK isn’t offered.

Emperia splits its welcome offer into four deposit bonuses, and there’s a lot to gain if you use all of them. In total, new players from Iceland can get up to €3,500 in bonus funds plus 325 free spins:

• 1st deposit: 200% up to €1,000 + 100 free spins on The Dog House
• 2nd deposit: 75% up to €750 + 75 free spins on Release the Kraken
• 3rd deposit: 50% up to €500 + 50 free spins on Buffalo King Megaways
• 4th deposit: 125% up to €1,250 + 100 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza

Each stage needs a deposit of at least €20. If you only want the first part, the 200% first deposit bonus up to €1,000 + 100 free spins is also listed as a standalone offer, and high rollers can pick a 200% up to €2,000 + 100 free spins version instead.

How does the bonus work?

1. Sign up at Emperia Casino
2. Activate the offer and deposit at least €20
3. Complete the 35x wagering requirement (deposit + bonus) within 10 days
4. Withdraw your winnings (up to 5x the bonus)

Key bonus terms

• Wagering: 35x the deposit + bonus
• Free spin winnings: 40x wagering, with a maximum of €100 released to your real balance
• Maximum bet: €5 while wagering
• Time limit: 10 days after activation
• Maximum conversion: 5x the bonus amount

18+. T&Cs apply. Please gamble responsibly.

Is the bonus worth it?

✅ High value, especially on the first deposit
✅ Includes free spins on popular Pragmatic Play slots
✅ Bonuses are available to players in Iceland
❌ High wagering requirement on deposit + bonus
❌ Low maximum conversion limit

Emperia’s welcome offer gives you great value for your deposits, but a few things make it harder to recommend. The bonuses carry a strict 35x wagering requirement on the deposit and bonus combined, and you can’t convert more than 5 times the bonus amount into real money.

If you understand what you’re agreeing to and can live with these terms, you can still get plenty of extra playtime out of the package. To see how it compares, browse the best casino bonuses in Iceland or our regularly updated list of free spins offers.

Emperia’s promotions page is always busy, with a different reload offer for most days of the week:

• Monday Power Boost: 111% + 111 free spins up to €500
• Midweek Reload: 40% + 40 free spins up to €1,000
• Friday Mega Boost: 100% up to €2,000
• Saturday Super Bonus: 75% + 75 free spins up to €750
• Sunday Reload: 50% + 50 free spins up to €550
• Weekly cashback: up to 35%, depending on your VIP level

There are also regular provider tournaments. At the time of review, these included Playson and 3 Oaks’ Hell or Win (€400,000), BGaming’s Million Drops (€100,000) and Gamzix’s Spin Express (€100,000). The Daily Bonus Map and Bonus Shop add even more rewards.

Emperia promo codes

You don’t need an Emperia promo code for the welcome offer or any other bonus. Available bonuses appear in your account – just activate the one you want before you start playing.

Emperia VIP Club

There are five VIP levels to work through at Emperia. The main difference between them is the cashback, which rises from 15% at level 1 to 35% at level 5.

VIPs also get exclusive promotions, higher withdrawal limits, a level reward (€50 at level 1) and, at the higher levels, a personal manager.

Emperia claims to offer over 12,000 games, and the provider filter backs that up, listing roughly 12,800 titles from around 80 studios. Despite the size, the lobby feels well organised. You can filter by provider or switch between categories such as Popular, New, Instant Games, Buy Features, Hot, Jackpot, Live Casino and Table Games.

A game catalogue this size isn’t always easy to navigate, but I think Emperia strikes a good balance between content and user experience.

Emperia Slots

Online slots from Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Hacksaw Gaming, Yggdrasil, NetEnt, Nolimit City and ELK Studios fill Emperia’s lobby. Browse the popular games or use collections such as High Volatility and Buy Features to find something that suits you.

Before picking a slot, it’s worth checking its payout rate. Our guide explaining what RTP is covers the basics, and our list of the highest paying slots in Iceland highlights games with the best long-term returns.

Jackpot Games

Emperia has a dedicated Jackpot category, so chasing a bigger win is just a click away. For a wider selection, see our pick of the best jackpot slots for players in Iceland.

Emperia Casino Games

Emperia knows that a real casino is more than just slots. The Table Games collection covers everything from video poker to roulette and blackjack, and there’s a separate Instant Games category with titles like Big Bass Crash, Limbo and Spaceman.

Emperia Live Casino

The live casino is one of the areas where Emperia really shows its breadth. Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live are joined by Ezugi, BetGames, XPG, Vivo Gaming and Winfinity, and well-known games like Lightning Roulette and Crazy Pachinko are all available.

Emperia Casino App and Mobile Experience

Emperia has built the casino with mobile in mind rather than simply squeezing the desktop version onto a smaller screen. Responsive menus let you search for games, open promotions or contact live chat from anywhere on the site.

There’s no dedicated app for Android or iOS, but it’s not something I miss. The site feels fully optimised in the browser, and the most important parts of the casino are never more than two or three taps away.

To sign up, select “Create Account” from the top menu, and the registration window will open. There, enter your email address, choose a username, and select the currency you want to use.

This is enough to log in, but Emperia will, of course, require your name and address before you can make a deposit.

Step-by-Step Registration

Here’s everything you need to do to register:

You can complete the KYC verification at any time, or wait until you make your first withdrawal. This is a fairly simple process that you'll be guided through from start to finish.
