Gambling.com Rating: 8.7/10
Our Verdict: talkSPORT BET has valuable odds and promotions for the UK's most popular sports, making this a betting site worth considering.
talkSPORT BET is a relatively new betting site that has already impressed since launching in 2022.
The bookmaker is a partnership between talkSPORT and BetVictor, and the similarities with BetVictor are easy to spot, in both the odds and general layout of the site.
Like BetVictor, talkSPORT BET offers competitive prices for most sports. But this bookie also brings its own ideas and offers to the table, with a range of football and racing promos.
I was able to watch greyhound and horse racing live when betting here. However, I'd like to see the streaming service expanded to include football.
In summary, talkSPORT BET already offers more than a lot of more established bookmakers, so I look forward to seeing how the site grows from here.

This site has a football-specific welcome offer which matches your first bet with free bets.
I was able to choose my stake between £20 and £40 knowing the bookmaker would match it, so I placed my first bet on a Premier League game at odds of 5/4 (the bet needs to be placed at evens or higher to trigger the bonus).
I was then credited with four free bets within five minutes - a £10 free bet to use on a bet builder, £10 for a correct score bet, £10 on a win+BTTS bet, and a final £10 for an acca with 4+ legs.
I like the fact that you can tailor this offer to suit your budget. If you're only prepared to part with £20, for example, you still get four £5 free bets.
The downside is that most 'bet & get' offers give you multiples of your first stake in return.
There are bet £10 get £40 and bet £10 get £50 offers out there that arguably provide more value.
Bookmaker | Qualifying Bet | Free Bet Bonus |
---|---|---|
Bet £20-£40 | Get £20-£40 | |
Bet £5-£15 | Get £15-£30 | |
Bet £10 | Get £30 | |
Bet £5 | Get £20 | |
Bet £5 | Get £25 |
talkSPORT BET offers a range of regular promotions - most of which centre around football and horses.
Free bets and refund deals are available, alongside frequent boosts.
Outside of the two main sports, I claimed boosts on golf, tennis, basketball and darts markets when testing this site.
Promotion | Description |
---|---|
1. No Horsing Around | Refund of up to £100 in cash if your horse loses all chance at the start of the race. |
2. Best Odds Guaranteed | Best odds guaranteed on all UK and Irish races from 9am on day of the race. |
3. 2-Up Payout | Bet wins if your team goes two goals up during a football match. |
4. Horse Racing Boosts | Numerous daily price boosts on selected horse races. |
5. Footie Rewards | £5 free bet when you place five bets worth £5 or more on football in a week. |
Horse racing has clearly been made a priority at talkSPORT BET.
I found five offers available for racing - best odds guaranteed, the 'No Horsing Around' money-back offer, price boosts, extra each-way places, and free bets for big festivals like Cheltenham and Royal Ascot.
I also enjoyed using the ‘Bet Finder’ feature for racing, which helps you find a bet.
For example, I could use the tool to find a horse that had won at a specific track, a horse that had won recently, or a horse with an in-form jockey.
As mentioned, horse racing is one of the few sports that you can stream live at talkSPORT BET.
I was able to watch the majority of races from the UK and Ireland once I had placed a bet in the previous 24 hours.
All in all, this is one of the better horse racing betting sites in the UK.
"talkSPORT BET has dozens of daily price boosts for races and that's the main attraction here for me."
When I navigated to the football betting page, talkSPORT BET threw plenty at me.
That might be a little overwhelming if you're new to betting, although it suited an experienced punter like myself.
I was immediately shown in-play matches, price boosts, odds for upcoming games, and enhanced bet builders.
If you're betting on football frequently, I recommend taking advantage of the loyalty offer.
By placing five bets worth £5 or more in a week, I got a free £5 bet the following week for any market I liked.
I find that the odds for football here often stand up to the best sites in the business like bet365.
But talkSPORT BET lacks the range of football live streams that bet365 is known for.
"It's nice to be rewarded with free bets for regular football betting - most bookies I've used don't do this."
Cricket is a sport that some sites neglect, but I didn't find that to be the case here.
There are lots of price boosts for cricket, including the T20 Blast, County Championship and Test matches.
talkSPORT BET's Lucky Dip can also be used for cricket betting.
With this promo, you take enhanced odds on a market and your selection is then revealed when you're placing the bet.
I chose a Lucky Dip for the number of runs in the first over of a Test match, at odds of 13/1. I was given seven and the bet actually came up, which was a nice surprise.
It's a nice way to add a bit of excitement - although I wouldn't rely on it as a strategic choice.
"The Lucky Dip feature throws up cricket bets you'd never expect and even the occasional winner!"
I opted to mainly place in-play bets to test the tennis betting service here. I found that it was solid, but not without limitations.
While the platform offers detailed visual tools to track matches in real-time, the absence of live streams disappointed me.
Lots of betting sites, like Unibet and BoyleSports, have tennis streams from a range of different tournaments.
That said, the variety of live betting markets is impressive. Point-by-point betting is particularly enjoyable.
I also like the amount of odds boosts I get during major tournaments like Grand Slams.
Golf betting at talkSPORT BET mainly revolves around the PGA Tour and majors.
This is fine for casual bettors, but keen golf punters may find the lack of options a bit disappointing.
Coverage of smaller tours is limited and I didn't see many LIV Golf or women's golf odds available.
For the tournaments that are covered, there's a nice interface which features leaderboards and live course statistics.
I didn't get great extra place terms here - sites like Coral, Ladbrokes and Betfred all have more each-way places for the majors in my experience.
"I'd like to see more golf offers at talkSPORT BET, as other sports seem to come with more promos."
Unlike lots of other online bookies, talkSPORT BET actually puts a focus on both rugby union and rugby league.
I was able to bet on numerous worldwide competitions for both codes.
I find that sites often neglect rugby league in particular, but that isn't the case here.
There are Lucky Dips and odds boosts available - but a few more offers are needed to make this one of the very best rugby betting sites in the UK.
I found plenty of markets and boosts on offer for darts betting.
During big events such as the Darts World Cup, Darts Premier League or PDC World Championship, daily boosts are available on a range of markets.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any live streams when it came to darts, however this is still a solid option for punting on the arrows.
The lack of snooker betting markets overall disappointed me a bit.
I could only bet on outright markets for a couple of upcoming events, but that was as far as it went from what I could see.
On the plus side, the snooker odds that are available are actually very competitive.
For example, I noticed talkSPORT BET had better odds on Judd Trump to win the World Championship (4/1) than William Hill or bet365 (7/2.).
Fight fans are pretty well-served at talkSPORT BET.
For MMA, there are UFC betting odds for more than just the next event, with markets available for all announced fights.
If you’re a fan of smaller promotions, I also saw betting odds for the PFL and Oktagon, which are rare enough to find.
Boxing betting gets similar treatment, with odds available on both PPV bouts and lesser-known fights from around the world.
It would be nice to see some more markets for individual boxing bouts, however, as the coverage is sometimes a bit basic and restrictive.
talkSPORT BET is a good option for betting on US sports, with the bet builder available for the MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL.
F1 betting comes with boosted odds and forecast markets for upcoming GPs.
Surprisingly, it's still rare to find a bookie offering lots of boosts for Formula 1, so kudos to talkSPORT BET for this.
With the rise in popularity of Esports betting, talkSPORT BET has odds for competitive video games like Valorant, League of Legends and Counter-Strike, with easy access to live streams of gaming.
If you enjoy a novelty bet, there are markets for awards like BBC Sports Personality of The Year and TV shows like Love Island.
For me, the odds are the main attraction to this bookie.
I started this review by highlighting how they are competitive across the board, and that is truly the case.
I compared odds across 20 leading bookmakers for cricket, tennis, football, horse racing and NBA betting markets.
talkSPORT BET consistently showed up in the top 15% of bookmakers for value.
Even on the rare occasions that the odds are lacking, price boosts often make up for it.
Market coverage is pretty consistent across sports, although there are a few outliers in that regard, like golf and snooker.
talkSPORT BET's bet builder is a solid tool, but not remarkable compared to other sites.
I was able to place bet builders on football, baseball, American football, basketball and ice hockey.
While this is more than some bookies offer, I was a tad disappointed by the lack of markets available to add to my same-game acca.
Particularly when it came to football, I was sometimes restricted to team markets only, with player markets lacking.
Sites like Bzeebet have a bet builder than encompasses more sports and markets overall.
I have to give a shout out to the boosted bet builders though.
Former footballer Ally McCoist works as a talkSPORT pundit and he sometimes selects bet builders that are boosted for high-profile matches - a nice touch for football fans.

talkSPORT BET offers a good in-play betting service, but there are still clear areas for improvement.
When it comes to live football, there's usually a nice range markets on offer, with live updates, real-time match data, and in-play price boosts for big matches.
However, there aren't any football live streams, so that's a bit disappointing.
The only streams I watched were of greyhound and horse races, while I noticed they were also available for table tennis and Esports clashes (look out for the play icon beside a market).
Across sports such as tennis, cricket, golf and basketball, I was impressed by the value of the cash outs offered for my live bets.
The streams work well, with no major buffering issues, but until streaming is offered for more sports, talkSPORT BET will continue to lag behind in this area.
talkSPORT BET is honestly one of the most user-friendly betting sites I've used.
All the main sports are right there on the homepage, and there are handy links to the promotions section, including filters so you can just see the sports offers if that’s what you’re after. It makes getting around the site really simple.
The black and yellow colour scheme is classic talkSPORT - instantly recognisable if you’re familiar with the brand.
It’s not flashy, but it works really well. The contrast helps the key features pop out without feeling cluttered.
I had no issues at all with loading times. Whether I was on desktop or mobile, the site was super- quick - definitely one of the fastest I’ve come across.
If I have one small gripe, it's with the way markets are laid out within individual events.
When I was trying to build a bet, it took me a bit longer than I’d like to find all the selections I wanted.
Once I got used to it, it was fine - but it could be a bit more straightforward for first-time users.
Overall, though, this platform gets the basics right and feels polished from top to bottom.
Payment Method | Minimum Deposit | Average Withdrawal Time |

Apple Pay | £5 | 1-3 Working Days |
Google Pay | £5 | 1-3 Working Days |
Debit Cards | £5 | 2-5 Working Days |
Bank Transfer | £5 | 1-3 Working Days |
talkSPORT BET's betting app matches the impressive user experience on the desktop site.
I like how push notifications keep me up to date with the latest promotions, as well as updates on how my bets are doing.
This is one of the fastest betting apps I've used, even with animations and imagery that don't seem to slow things down.
iOS users seem to agree, with a 4.8/5 average user rating on the Apple App Store.
The app has a slightly lower 3.8/5 rating on the Google Play Store . Probably due to the fact that streams take a little bit longer to load up.
For that reason, if you're betting on Android, I recommend opening a horse racing stream at least 30 seconds before the race starts, so it has time to get up and running.
I found customer support at talkSPORT BET was quick and helpful, although a few extra contact methods would be nice.
Live chat is my recommendation if you need quick help, although there is an option to email customer support.
Unfortunately, I didn't find a phone line that could provide immediate support when live chat was busy, something which other bookmakers do offer.
Channel | Availability | My Experience |
---|---|---|
Live Chat | 24/7 | Quick response solved my issue within minutes. |
24/7 | Took me a couple of days to get a reply, so I'd favour the live chat option. |
The 'Safer Gambling' portal at talkSPORT BET is always easy to find no matter where I am on the site, accessible via a side menu that stays visible while you navigate.
Inside, you’ll find a set of tools aimed at helping users stay in control, including:
The layout is straightforward, and each feature is simple enough to set up.
All the key responsible gambling bases are covered without the bookmaker overcomplicating things, which I always like to see.
Overall, talkSPORT BET has plenty to offer both new and experienced sports bettors.
For beginners, the site is really easy to navigate and use. I got my free bets pretty easily as part of the welcome offer, and once my account was set up, the odds for the most popular sporting events were easy to access.
For more seasoned punters, the prices provide consistent value and the range of promotions impresses as you dig deeper into the site. Regular price boosts on even the smallest events put the cherry on top.
I love watching streams while I bet, so if the site expands its streaming service a bit, I’ll give it an even higher rating.
Still, I rate talkSPORT BET at 8.7/10 because it's a bookmaker that I highly recommend.
