Aryna Sabalenka will look to join a select company of players to win three-straight Australian Opens when she faces Madison Keys in the final on Saturday.

Sabalenka was put on the back foot by Paula Badosa, losing the first game of their semi-final, but she responded and coasted through to her third final on the bounce in straight sets. 

The Belarusian can now become the sixth player in history to win three-straight Australian Open crowns and the first since Martina Hingis achieved the feat in 1999.

Keys is the underdog standing in her way after she produced an outstanding performance to defeat Iga Swiatek. 

The Pole had become the favourite on tennis betting sites to end Sabalenka’s reign, but saw her dreams ended in a final-set tie-breaker by the 19th-seeded American, who will compete in her second Grand Slam final, and first since the 2017 US Open.
